How I can configure my computer to get mirror image in second hard disk to protect my digital images.?

When I am working with my digital photographs , I want that my computer automatically create backup images in a second hard disk.

You want to use RAID 1 (mirroring)
if you are using XP Pro (i think also 2000pro) you can convert both disks to dynamic disk through disk management then create the mirror.

Or you could get a raid controller card.
