On the ebay there is a seller who selling MS Office by download.
Is this genuine. Can I buy safely?

whats really important is the serial. not the program. you can buy, but there is a chance that he will use the serial later many times and make it banned.

i don't recommend buying this.

that's a tuff one. i would suggest downloading microsoft office 2007 by mininova.com. the guy on ebay could be selling you a fake, and he also could have included spyware. check his feedback and dont buy from him if he hasno feedback. also, check the responses people gave him. if they all say: good seller A+++ or something really cheesy that more than a few of his buyers used, dont buy. you have to be careful on ebay with so many people out to scam you. ask him why he is selling a download and not jsut shipping it.

Never buy used software online. Because when you register the software you just may get a notice that the cd key is already in use and is as such invalid. Buy from a retailer.

Sounds a little fishy to me. To have a legal copy you also need a legal CD KEY or serial number. If the price sounds to good the the deal probably isn't.
