How long ago was that? And don't say "this question"

My husband and I have been married for 12 yrs. and 7 yrs ago we split cuz I liked to go out & he didnt; I met a guy, but I always denied anything happening. We got back together for about 1yr and we split a 2nd time cuz he was talking to a co-worker and decided he was not happy w/me anymore.(she understood him?)..We tried again for the sake of our 2 daughters. I know there is a lot of commerodery when you work in a large group. He is a gaurd in a prison and a couple of days ago a female officer called his cell phone in the middle of the night, but hung up. He called back to the prison and asked if anyone had called him and they patched the call to her. They talked for about 15 minutes. I asked him why she had called and said she just needed advise. He denies anything is going on and says he talks to everyone at work. Our relationship is normal...we have problems with bills and payments, kids, work, like any other couple. Our sex life is ok, but should I be worried or let it go?

I almost never message him (although I used to, but he made it clear he did not want to date again and was kind of rude), so I pretty much stopped making any effort.
So what's the deal? Is it possible he wants a good friendship (he has plenty of friends already)? Is he being controlling, or is he just annoyed that I don't pay very much attention to him or flirt anymore?
It was a pretty short initial relationship but it was sexual. What's going on here?

Here's the deal. My in-laws have Christmas dinner every year at noon. And every year my kids cry & complain because they want to stay home, in their jammies & play with their new stuff. My husband & I also just want to stay in & not go out. My family has dinner on Christmas Eve, we wanted to go see his parents during the day before my family stuff. The thing is, his mom gets mad if we don't do things her way, no matter what it is, she has to have her way. We go there every Thanksgiving & Easter, we just want to do our own thing on Christmas day. Do you think we should do what we want, even though we know she'll be mad? Or do we just make ourselves go to keep her happy?

What does the phrase "motion to stay" mean in a divorce hearing? Does it mean that someone is trying to buy more time?

Thanks...

Would you continue to buy gifts and or try and make plans for a spouse who did not think of buying you an aniversary or b day present. They claim to be buying you something on pay day but that day never shows up. I don't want to be petty or childish. I do not feel I should behave like a person who is selfish however after a while you start to feel as if your being taken advantage of and being made out to be a fool.

We live in Tampa, Florida. There was recently an offer at our job for an agent to move to Tulsa, OK. for a management position. My boyfriend is considering taking it if the offer is good. He told me very casually over our work's instant messaging system: "I might be moving to Tulsa", and didn't tell me much more until I constantly asked him wtf he was talking about. Then he explained the issue. So...if the money is good and they offer a good package, I could see why he would consider it.

I guess my question is...if he moves, even if he's just considering it and inquiring about it, that PRETTY much tells me where our relationship stands. He doesn't care about leaving and I, nor his friends are important enough to stay.

I guess I'm just the one to put love before a career. He's the oposite aparently.

So anyway...yeah...that pretty much tells me where him and I stand right?

This question has probably been asked 1000 times, but I'm curious.

So, here's the situation. I've been with the same guy for over 15 years. He's always been very loyal and faithful, and so have I. We've been having problems the past couple years (what long term relationship doesn't have issues) but I didn't see this coming.

I found out he'd been cheating with someone from work. He ended it, but I found out just weeks afterwards. He swears it was a mistake, that he'll never do anything like this again, that he loves me and he'll do anything if I just give him the chance.....blah blah blah.

I honestly don't know what I'll do, and I've told him straight out that I'm not giving him any promises. We have kids, and I need time to figure out what I think is best for me and the kids.

So....long story short. Do you think a guy who's had an affair will do it again, or is it possible (common??) to just screw up once and never repeat the error?

Thanks!

We are married for 8 years and we have 2 lovely boys. We love eachother very much and I can't imagine living without him. I just wanted to know if it was O.k for me and my husband disgaree on most of the things ..specially when it is something with his parents and sister. We also disagree on little things like ...may be just a nursery rhyme or how to clean the dishes... We just talk about the disagreement and as usual my husband will forget about it. I am wondering if its really O.K for the couple to disagree on things and still be happy. Also want to know if there are people like this and its normal for a couple to disagree...Thanks in advance for answering my question.

If a person get a lot of stares, for whatever reason, while they walk, is it ok to just wear a hat and slight look down as you walk. Is this the right thing to do if it makes this person comfortable.

My husband has had to put in 12hrs 6 days a week for the past 4 months and since then we haven't had anything going on in the bedroom. I don't work right now because of the fact that I have to provide his transportation during the day so I'm alone all the time except for the few hours I'm carting him around. I'm an attractive 22yo girl and at the peak of my sexual drive. He's 30 and has had his good share of women before me, but now is showing no sexual drive. It upsets me that he'd rather watch porn and masturbate if he does feel like doing anything at all. I've also found it very hard to resist cheating. I've told him how I feel, but I guess he's too worn out to listen. Is there any advice anyone can give me. A man's perspective would be very helpful also. Thanks.

I broke up with my BF for several reasons. We live together and our relationship just kinda died. He accused me of cheating, which I didn't. We got into an argument about it and he told me not to come home. After a weekend of NOT answering his phone, I finally went thome and tried to talk to him. He said If I wanted to fix it I should have come home in the first place.?? I didn't want to stay because of all the fighting and he told me if I stayed away another night I could move out all my stuff. So I said ok and now I'm moving out. NOW he wants to bring me flowers and ask me to the movies and dinner. All the things he didn't do when I was home. I don't feel I should compromise the fact taht I don't deserve to be ignored, as no one does, but I feel so bad becasue he's calling me crying and upset. Moving in was against EVERYTHING that myself and my family believes in and since he kicked me out, there are a few people that want to kick his A$$ and that's not helping. WHAT TO DO??

This guy has really gotten me confused. About three or four weeks ago I started talking to him over IM. When asked who I liked I said him. He seemed fine with it and seemed like he wanted to get to know me better. The next day, he sits next to me in my writing class and starts talking and joking around with me. I tried to IM him that night and he didn't answer. Actually, he didn't answer my IMs until about three days ago, where he talked for about 5 minutes, maybe less. Last night I attempted to figure out what was wrong with his head (and if the brain was working) and he wouldnt answer. I told him that I didn't knwo what I did but I'll leave him alone and won't talk to him. He still didn't answer. So he knew I was mad at him, and he wouldn't try to fix it. Today I walk into my writing class and he sits at the table next to mine, but the tables are so close together he might as well be sitting next to me. He kept putting his feet on my chair, taking my books, looking at my homework and

My wife had an affair about 4 years ago that I caught her in she denied and denied it, but I had proof. (it was in Cancun) She ultimately admitted to it. We have tried to work it out, but 2-3 years ago I began to suspect a co-worker and her may have had an EA or the real deal. I would meet him at events or at her work he is about 11 years older than her. But he never seemed comfortable around me. I told this to my wife and she ummm - hawwed saying, who, him? no way.
Well, this last year we have actually gone out with him and his wife to dinner and parties. His wife is beautiful, personal trainer. Anyway last weekend I invited some of my clients to a party at my house where the other man and wife met my clients. ...fastforward. I met with my clients the other night and they informed me that so and so (suspected man and his wife) were well known swingers!!!!!!!!!!! This has bugged me to no end. Of course I am wondering if my wife was ever envolved. She does do things alone with them.

This is our 5th x-mas together. My husband and I live 6 hours away from my inlaws. The first x-mas we were together we asked them to come here and they refused point blankly. As a result we have spent every x-mas eve here and travelled all day christmas to their house for dinner. They do not have any family or do any special traditions at their house. This year we do not have the money to drive that far or the time as my husband is going to school in a town two hours away January 7th (two rent payments), and I will have finished my fourth year of my degree on the 21st. Now they are furious with us!!! My husband feels terrible but I told him that they are being selfish.

So, last week I'm asking another women out and the first women walks by, says to me in a sweet voice 'Hi Tony, you never called me' and pats me on the butt.

The second women says 'maybe later' and leaves.

What can I do?

The most important thing in doing something special for your partner is not doing something you think is romantic – it is doing something your partner would think is romantic.
Some women think that just because they don’t like red roses, a candlelit dinner, or a sentimental card – they aren’t the romantic type. Men and women define “romance” in many different ways. If she isn’t a red roses type of woman – she’s not immune to romance; she just needs a different type of romance to capture her heart.
The Encarta dictionary defines “romance” in eleven different ways. It is no wonder why people have different definitions of what they would consider romantic. On our website, we use 5 different romantic profiles to help our users choose ideas that best suit their partner.
