I'm 21 years old and I still live at home with my parents. It would be nice to live on my own but I go to college and I would rather just save up money and focus on schoolwork. Anyways, my parents impose curfews on me and are always bothering me to spend time with them. They are constantly nagging me to clean my room as well. Is this normal? I feel like they are treating me like im 16. Should I just accept their rules because I am living in their house or should I have more freedom because I am 21.

To other young adults living at home: How do your parents treat you? Do they still "discipline" you and impose curfews? I just wonder if my situation is normal.

We like to joke and say my FIL is a "Jewish Mother." He is very affectionate has trouble understanding boundaries. I have 2 daughters, 13.10yo (she is multiply disabled) and 16.6yo. G-pa has always treated them younger than they are (to the point that my youngest doesn't like being around him. He talks to her like she is 3 and she can't stand it. We've tried talking to him but it really doesn't help) and touched them a lot. I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea, he is not a dirty old man he just really loves them and seriously has no boundaries and doesn;t egt it that other people do. Another aspect to this problem is him creating problems that don't exist. When Aly was 13 and went through that phase where teens sleep ALL the time, he thought she was doing drugs, she cut her hair short (girlie pixie) and he thought she was a lesbian, she is a very serious, thoughtful and mature young woman and because she's not giggling like an idiot all the time he thinks she's depressed.

ex BF from 25 yrs ago gets in contact, we did not have closure back then due to family intervening. We caught up with one another's lives when we spoke three years ago when he called me. I am happily married and have been for 21 yrs. Ex is in a relationship with a partner and a couple of her kids, and they had to move states so her ex would not follow her. He had to be very secretive about contacting me. I told my hubby immediately that he had called and he was really happy for me that we had made contact, cos he knows that I still have a very soft spot for my ex, but trusts me completely. My problem is that I still would like to have contact with this guy, he was part of my "growing up" but just as friends, coz we were the best of friends back then. And because of his situation I don't think that it is right that I contact him, although I still don't have that closure and feel that I need it.

it's an early Autumn wedding, so it won't be freezing, but it may be a little cool.

Anyway, I was wondering if this outfit is A) appropriate and B) the colour isn't deemed offensive (since it's a light greyish-white)

Thankyou :)

The only time he wants to talk,or pay very much attention to me is if I'll do something sexual with him,if not he doesnt talk to me much to me at all.

He makes up a lame exscuse that he's sick or something.

I'm a virgin,so we've not actually had sex.

Do you ever feel like leaving your marriage, feeling down, feeling like there is no sense to be married?
Do you ever feel just bored and want your 'freedom' back?
Do you ever feel like you want or deserve more in your marriage and you don't get?

I haven't been very happy in my relationship with my spouse for a very long time. I got together with him when I was 18 yrs old straight out of a relationship break up because I think I was just scared to be alone.

We've always been pretty incompatible and deep down I've often regretted ever getting together with him but stayed despite this. I deeply care about him but ours was a passionless and stressful relationship. I couldn't help but fight with him all the time and was pretty impossible to please.

He's made many mistakes but is a very nice man. He really took care of me and I depended on him a lot. Almost too much. And I feel lost at the idea of being without him.

We're splitting as we both agree that we're not happy. And I truly have been thinking about leaving him since pretty much the beginning, but never did. Now that it's happening I'm distraught. I'm confused! I have regrets. I know he will have no problem meeting someone, but I'm shy and not as social. Advice?

okay, i don't understand. most men are so stupid, i mean come on now, come on don't be ridiculous.

if their GF cheats on them with another guy, the BF would blame it on the guy and want to kill him and beat him up. WTF? isn't ti the GF's decision to cheat? who chose to cheat on the guy? the GF did, nobody forced the GF to cheat, she chose to herself. yet so many retards blame it on the guy for what the GF chose to do. it's so stupid.

Why get angry for what someone else chose to do? it's like blaming someone else for what another person chose to do. it's so ridiculous, it should be common sense but yet people are so stupid, what the hell?
