How can we find a common ground to respect each others beliefs around the holiday season. I read that is it fine to have a Muslim male and Christian female paired, but not the other way around. How can I invite him to be with me and my family without making him feel as if it is all for nothing? I am very very family oriented, he is not. Also, how can I protect my feelings when he disconnects around the holiday season because of the religious differences.
We love one another and want to be together, but how can we make it work for both of us.

I met this guy a year ago and we started talking & goin out. He was kind of a night person who would stay out late & liked to drink and spend with friends a lot. I wanted me to spend with him & stay late but i couldn't take it anymore. We been on & off but everything was so calm and sweet that i didn't know what to think. I told him a few times about my feelings and that i want serious things & can't give him anything else. Lately a few times he called late and wanted to meet up & i refused, his friends started calling asking me to talk to him & telling me that i'm hurting him a lot. So i got sick of this calls & his attitude and changed my cell #. was that a right thing to do? since i miss him a lot and i saw him a few times in front of my building.

Her mom is an abusive alcoholic. She wont do anything to fix it. She just begs me not to tell anyone. Her dad lives on the other side of the country. She doesn't want to tell him, because she doesn't want her dad to blame himself about all of this. Her house is hard to deal with. She doesn't eat sometimes because she is scared to go upstairs with her mom there. She can never be in the same room as her mom. It's scary, and I don't want to turn her in. She has begged me for years not to. She says since she only has two more years of school its no big deal. gah!

He basically said I don't make him happy and then walked out the door. We have three kids 6, 4 and 4 months. I know we have been fighting alot but I seriously do not know how to feel about this. There are different types of love, there's the kind of love that consumes you, full of passion, desire, that feeling where you can't live w/out each other and there's the kind of love where you can co-exist in harmony w/ a person therefore build a life but you can tell when a couple settled vs. when a couple is as in love w/ each other as they where form day one. my roomates female cousin was staying with us and he ended up sleeping with her in the house we lived in and in my bed!!!!.... i forgave him and we got back together. but there was quite a few times i caught him messaging her and looking at her myspace profile. once he finally quit looking at her i caught him inviting some girl on myspace to his dads house( his dads a firefighter and works overnight) to drink. he also told her i was his ex( we were together at the time) I've now had my baby and we are living together but the problem is i still don't trust him and he can't understand why. even the smallest lies set me off. we have huge blow ups over it. he thinks i'm controlling and jus don't want him to do anything other than be with me. but i don't trust him with his friends.... some one please help. i don't know how to fix the situation but i must for my babys sake. i dunno if i'm wrong and need to just trust him or what.

My girlfriend and I have been living together for 6 months, she is an admitted alcoholic who occasionally blacks out. Whenever she blacks out she is very mean to me, she talks to other guys or accuses me of looking at other girls even though i don't. She has flirted with friends while blacked out and doesnt remember what happened. Well last friday once again she was being secretive and supposedly blacked out but was on Myspace checking out random guys profiles, then she goes on yahoo personals and checks out other guys profiles while she is hiding in the house making phone calls and deleting the history, oh and she always checks my stuff but i have nothing to hide. We did move in together early but I truly fell in love with her from the day I meant her, she had just moved from N. Dakota and I wanted her to live with me, Did we move in to fast? what do you think.

My fiance and i want to have a wedding with our friends and family there....however, he is a Marine and is stationed in Cali, I live in FL. Unfortunately i cant live with him until we are married because we cannot afford it. So we were thinking about eloping and not telling anyone. Then have a "real" wedding and reception a couple months down the road when we can save more money for it. He gets extra money for being married. How would i pull something like this off?

always around the holidays, you have different stressful situations that creep into families. I have one that I would like your opinion on. there are at least three people in my family that really can not afford to buy any gifts this Christmas for anyone. In my family, all but one REALLY understands the situation. How would you deal with a family that doesnt really want to understand the situation and thinks that you should at least try and get something? How would you go about telling this family member that you cant buy any gifts this Christmas for them or their children?

so i work at a sprint store and manager is nice with all....but lately he is getting stressed coz new employees he hired r pain in the neck. i m at higher post and i've been here for almost 3 years. i thought he liked me even wen we r 5 years apart...he is 25..me 20. we used to talk and he made me feel special. he used to talk and talk but now he ignores me. ok ok i played hard to get. but i've seen him getting dumped from two girlfriends. they wanted to use him. anyways my question is "Is he just stressed at work" or "HAS HE CHANGED?"

does he think that like his girlfriends and his ex-employees, i will leave him too. is he confused? he has been ignoring me even though i know how crucial i m at this store. i m stayin coz i know without me this place will fall apart. he realizes that too. so why is he acting like a jerk these days?

He just seems to be really insensitive and uncaring today. He is busy playing xbox 360 (which I bought him for christmas and he said he needs to test it out a few days ago and hasnt finished 'testing' it yet) and I have been trying to talk to him about a problem we are having. We sorted out the problem after a horribly frustrating argument and then I was feeling emotional and was trying to explain all my feelings to him and he said 'please stop, I don't want to talk anymore' so I started crying and telling him I just wanted to tell him my feelings, I went off crying into our room and he just went back to playing video games, he didnt check on me or show he cared in any way. He still isn't. I am really upset and I have nobody to talk to, he is the only person I talk to and he doesn't even want to listen to me today. Is that normal? What am I supposed to do, I want him to be caring and show me he cares.

I went to a party and I was all excited and the kid I think I am seriously in love with came. I diddn't know he was coming, but he did. Anyway, we were playing truth or dare and he got dared to kiss two other girls ! None of them were me. The first one was his first kiss ever. I wanted to be his first kiss ever; and I wanted him to be mine. I've heard from some people that he liked me but i don't know what to do anymore. Should I talk to him about it? I am really annoyed my husband for not telling the truth to his parents.?
My mother and family are very handy people. My mom went out of her way to help us install laminate flooring and backsplash in the kitchen. she took 2 days off from work to help us do the job properly and also showed my husband how to use the cutting machine for the backsplash. I was expecting that my husband will tell his parents that he completed theses two projects with the help of my mom and that there was lot of work involved. Instead he just said it that yeah WE did all the work in 2 days and didn't mention anything to his parents that he was able to do all this because of my mom and her assistance. His mom now thinks that he did everything.and i am not happy with this because to me this is a lie. I hate when people doesn't give credit to those people who have went out of their way to help them. I did talk to my husband about this and that his thing was that that there is already a friction in two families
