its not just a guy thing its a stubborn thing. I know girls that refuse to say sorry just because they are stubborn. It could also be that the guy thought he was still in the right even if he's not

Most of the time a guy will not feel it is his fault. The girl will not see it that way, but he sees no reason to say sorry for what he did not do.
And even on those rare times when a guy might admit that it was he fault, he still sees little reason to say he is sorry. In the first place...HE IS NOT SORRY. In general, no guy is sorry. So if they say it, that is just a lie and they are just telling the girl what she wants to hear.
And on those even more rare times when the guy does feel sorry, he still does not feel like saying he is sorry. In the first place it makes a guy feel weak and emotional. And secondly, the guy does not get anything from saying he is sorry. He will not feel better and it's not like the girl will just let it drop. In fact if he does say he is sorry, she will hold it over his head forever. So he won't say it.

I think it flows from the fact that most men like to see themselves as the dominant provider, even today, and having to say im sorry punctures that self image. I think its a fault myself.

Simple my dear, because its the society that says that guys should be firm on their word, but dont worry we always find ways to say we are sorry maybe not verbal, but a nice dinner for two would be good. Dont you think so.

This is not true for my boyfriend's case. When we first started going out, he would apologize for EVERYTHING, even if it was my fault.
