If they asked you to change your appearance. Would you change your hairstyle (cut it, let it grow, dye it, different style, etc.), your mode of dress, your weight? Get colored contacts? Change facial hair? Trade glasses for contacts or vice versa? Get braces or get your teeth whitened?

Would you go even further? Would you undergo plastic surgery?

I am just curious. With all the rising trends in modifying one's self, I am curious as to what people would accept as motivation.

Ive been living with my boyfriend a year and we've had an amazing relationship little arguing and a great time together. We live together so I do pretty much play house wife laundry cooking and cleaning which i don't mind, but we both are full time students and work a lot and i feel like he doesn't appreciate me or what i do for him. Todays our anniversary no comment card or anything and he knew how important it was to me. also we had a great "bedroom" life where it could be up to 6 times a day to around 4 then 2 then every other day 3 times a week and now 1 or two times ever couple weeks any advice to spice it up or guys going through the same thing and there view?

im in 8th grade and i have to deal with picking high schools and every thing. i am the only one actually doing something. My parents have not helped me one bit and im stressed like crazy. All my friend's other parents are helping them but i am the only one doing it all by my self.

im afraid im not going to get into any of my schools and that i will get into a bad one!

what should i do?

I am white guy and i have dated so many girls of so many races in so many countries.I found white and black women to try to be too controlling and very likely to cheat.I found asian women liked me because i could provide them a higher social status,money,or a greencard.I found hispanic women to be using me for the same reasons as asian women and a little crazy when the last mexican girlfriend i had chased me around my neighborhood with a knife because i looked at some other girl.I never was interested in the girl.I couldnt even get a date with Indian or Middle Eastern girls because they knew their parents would never accept me.
Why cant i just find someone to make me happy.I am so lonely.I have no where to turn I feel like my options have run out.I am a nice guy and I deserve to be happy.Is it because I am too picky.I have had many girls say i would be the perfect bf but when they get me they cheat on me or they try to treat me like crap and expect to get away with it.

I'm going through a divorce right now, and I'm going to be moving back to my home state, getting a new job and starting school (college). I've never lived without roomates or anything, and my best friend in the world is deployed to Iraq until February 2009. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to keep the lonliness from driving me crazy. I'm trying to keep busy, but at night I know it's going to get to me. Any suggestions?

My fiance and I will be putting our tentatively-finalized guest list together (finalized enough that we will be able to determine what size room we will need for our reception) this weekend. I am curious as to who people normally allow to bring a guest, and who gets invited alone. Some people we're thinking of inviting that I envision this issue coming up for include:

- A few friends from college who know each other. Some have gf's, some don't.

- A couple professors from college. They are all married.

- My fiance's cousins. Some are married, some dating, some single. One is a young kid.

- A couple of my fiance's friends from waaaay back - they're single now, but that changes fairly often with them. BTW, 2 of these guys may end up being my fiance's groomsmen.

- My brother - he's been with his gf for 3 months.

Do we just allow everyone to bring a guest/significant other? What is the proper etiquette for this?

I'm with my son all the time, like 24-7 and I love it.. my son is 9 months old. he used to say mama all the time and will crawl to me saying ma ma. well lately he's been saying da da over and over. he crawls to me saying it. and when my husband has him he still says it. I think he calls me Dada. honestly it drives me insane. i love hearing him say ma ma. and now he says doesn't say ma ma anymore . I am glad that he does Dada, I just want him to know who I am.any ideas on how to teach him that I'm mama?

So I started sleeping with my ex. We have both agreed we will see other people but since we don't know anyone else who is better in bed we will "take care" of each other for the time being. My husband decided to leave our marriage because
I did not like his friends- WHo are drunks-
I spent too much money--- Yes I spend money-- But I also work and he spends too.
and he felt uncomfortable in his house--- I moved things around the house and like it very neat.

Is it bad luck to wear a VERY pretty diamond ring If your not married? I'm looking at some rings on sale and they are beautiful! But I've heard that it's bad luck to wear a diamond ring if your not married. I mean i'd be wearing it on my right hand not my left. And I'm already in a serious relationship for about 2 years now, so I dont see much harm. What do you think??

To summarise; I've known this guy for two months now. I went for drinks with his friends, things seemed cool. I went back to his house... we kissed and hugged but that's pretty much it. He got out of a 2 year relationship in the summer and I got out of a 6 month one. Anywho, we began to get close, and it felt wicked until he put on this 'guard' that we admitted he was putting on because he doesn't want to get hurt. Also, he said that he doesn't want to get into a serious relationship for obvious reasons. This hurt and made me want to, even though initially, I didn't. All of a sudden, he became distant... we could both feel it. He was no longer cute & sensitive. I feel as though I'm treading on eggshells. It's horrible! Some of his friends (especially his BEST friend) are quite mean to me these days, even though it's allegedly a 'joke!' - Errrrr, NO! He's such a good guy... what happened? He said, out of the blue, when I said I missed him, that I was being clingy and that we're mates =/
