My best friend's dad passed away yesterday. She became really depressed and I don't know what I should do. She had to sell a lot of her things (i.e. her piano, dogs..). She sort of mentioned she was going to move and I'm afraid she'll transfer schools.

She's usually smiling and I was shocked to see her cry. It was the first time. I don't know what I should do to help her or comfort her. Any ideas?

i seem to be the only person in the whole world that thinks farting isnt funny. call me a prude, but i really cant stand it.

ive told him a hundred times not to sit around and fart all over my stuff, but he never listens.

i know its a natural thing and all, but go to the freakin bathroom already. why do I have to deal with it???

am i wrong to feel this way? part of me says "just get over it" but really, its like nails on a chalk board to me. i cant stand it.

If we drift, we drift apart. If we grow, we grow together. Could it be that often the difference is determined by knowing our priorities and keeping them in focus? A priority is something we believe to be important. When we list priorities, we are listing those things we believe to be of great value in life.

Most Christians would agree that priority number one is our relationship and fellowship with God. Nothing is more important. In fact, our relationship with God influences the rest of our priorities. If God is the author of life, then nothing is more important than knowing Him. If God has spoken, then nothing is more important than hearing His voice. If God loves, nothing can bring greater joy than responding to His love. Jesus said, "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness." Can we honestly say, that seeking the Kingdom of God is our first priority?

Ok, so I have dated quite a few guys...and we say we are always going to be friends after we break up. And that never happens. So do you think that it is possible to be friends with someone who you previously dated??? And do you think it is more difficult to be friends with someone after you break up if you were friends first?

on average, how long do rebound relationships usually last? i know 97% of the time rebound relationships do not work out, but are we talking days, weeks, months or years here, before it falls apart?

i know i could have asked this in polls and surveys, but i'm also looking for personal accounts of rebound relationship experiences too.

I just moved in with my boyfriend about a month and a half ago (been together for a year n' half), and he's already up all over in my shiz. By that I mean I feel like we're joined at the hip to the point of where I want to tell him I'm thinking of finding another place. I'm the type of person that enjoys one-on-one conversations, hanging out, with different people everyday, not just my boyfriend. We work together, and carpool together!! We eat breakfast, lunch and dinner together... It's bf overload and I seriously don't know how to break it to him that I need lots of space. It's to the point where every little thing he does is driving me nuts; the way he eats, his laugh, the way he touches my leg after every bite he takes..and theres more. I know there was at one point a reason why I moved in with him - but right now I can't remember for the life of me.

How do you get back to the space and adjust so you both have a life after you move in w/sig. other? I feel overwhelmed.

Help!!

Married - kids. Wife will not accept responsibility - have 3 mortgages on house, (oh we can afford it - I was told) whenever I get mad about anything she blows up at me - accuses me of being depressed (family history-long story), not taking my medications, and won't back me up on anything. I don't feel depressed, but wes I have been more angry lately - have been saddled w/ a lot more stress than usual over past few months. Long story short - shes pissed about me not being on meds. Wants me out. I am at the point I am willing to leave and go off the meds permanently because I feel she is the reason I am on them in the first place. I am pissed that she never admits her problems with money and lack of control are why we are in such a hole. Should I leave? Should I stay?

He disappears and cames back. Do you think his wife knew from the start? I think the sons must have known too. Apparently one of the sons has done a bunk from his flat in London in the middle of the night. What do you think is really going on ?

The person with feelings of superiority is impatient with others' imperfections; is often domineering and strong-willed. When he meets resistance from his mate he attempts to force his spouse into line. If the spouse refuses to shape up, the person who feels superior will place all the blame on the spouse.

What truth will liberate the person with superiority feelings? It is an awareness that the ground is level at the foot of the cross of Christ. We all stand in need of forgiveness. Perhaps you have been unwilling to admit your failures. Then it is time for confession and repentance. You do not need to claim superiority in order to be important. People will think no less of you if you admit your weaknesses. On the road of confession you will find many friends. The road of self-righteousness gets lonelier each day. Admitting your humanity and accepting responsibility for your failures will lead you to a growing marriage.
