My husband and I bought a new house 5 months ago, and we want to host Christmas in our house this year and let our 2 year old daughter enjoy Christmas here without traveling. We invited the in-laws down for a long visit, and there shouldn't be a problem because they stayed here at least 6 or 7 times this summer. We insist that Christmas Eve and Christmas morning be in our home (because Santa brings our daughter's presents here, not to Grandma's). MIL suddenly decides this isn't good enough and wants us to drive 4 hours out of state to her house for Christmas, even though my husband and I both have to work and our 2 year old daughter is going to be miserable stuck in a car that long on Christmas Day. MIL is crying and guilt tripping my husband about it so much that he is actually sick with nerves and avoiding the phone! Is it so unreasonable to want to host Christmas in our own house, and make the grandparents come to us???? How should we deal with this?

I just don't know what to do... I'm living with this girl for a year... everything she has is kinda mediocre,and she never gives a burg about anything... Well! that's not important... the thing is sometimes I really hated her, but sometimes I kinda find her attractive... and sometimes it feels like I'm stuck with her forever, kinda like I've lost my whole life to her... is it what people feel when they get married? it's just too early for me to think about that... and it makes me wanna puke when come to think about those... ahh~!! what in the name of monkeys should I do... I bought an item off beay on the 26th of november i payed for it instantly the seller says they sent it 1st class on friday and it hasnt arrived she hasnt given me proof that it was sent so at the moment its just her word for it.She says she cant do anything for 2 weeks what can i do?

hi all,
my ex and i broke up because he was always working and he never had time for me. we broke up about 2 years ago. after we broke up he would always keep in touch till this day. he calls me like every 3-4 weeks to see how i am doing? also, when he calls he wants to hang out and everytime i hang out with him we end up kissing (no sex) just kissing,,,so its not a booty call...im trying to figure him out..what does he want from?? does this make any sense at all?? cause im so confused as to why he hooks up with me when we hang out but we r not together...ive been dating other guys after him and i know that hes been dating other girls after me...i need help trying to figure this out??? im gonna ask him whats on his mind, but before i do this i just want everyones opinion...im curious

it is getting very old i had dated him for 4 1/2 year the first 2 were great years and now in the last two years he majorly screwed up our credit scores and our chances by doing drugs and alcohol and be fired from like 6 different jobs. i don't believe him anymore he turned me against my family. and my family is the most important thing to me. how do i tell him to fix our credit that he messed up without my permission by opening like 10 cards in my name. please help advice needed? and be kind.

ok a little back ground. i got divorced 4 years ago. at the time i was a wreck so i gave full custody of our son to the ex. but mow im worried he maybe being neglected with her. she lives with a guy who she has another child with but there are no longer a couple. yet this guy is the one who watches my kid most of the time, and he is a drunk. this guys brother is also living with them now and im told he also does drugs. this all really bothers me. not only that but he almost never sees his mom. he is in school then his mom works at night, and i have him almost every weekend. In fact the last weekend she was suppose to have our son, she left him with the guy shes living with and went out of state for a booty call. i cant say he is in physical danger but i dont feel that hes being taken care of that well either. i cant afford a layer is there anything i can do?

My fiance and I live together and until about 3wks ago he was making more then double then me and the primary support for us (thogether we just barly made enough to get by) Now he lost his job Ive picked up some hours, but not enough to live off of, we sold some investments I had and that money is now half way gone. Hes at home feeling sorry for himself and everytime I get worried or upset and talk to him about it he doesnt want to talk abotu it or trys to make me think hes trying hard to find work. There are not many jobs, but I feel like instead of maybe applying for 1 or 2 jobs a day online he should be applying for lots and out driving around filling out apps. I dont want him to get mad at me or give up but he needs motivation because we have a house and car loans to pay for, with the economy so bad it may be really tough to find work even if he does try super hard, How do I motivate him???

me and my husband decided to stop smoking at the same time after I found out I was pregnant, we had been wanting to quit for yrs. Anyway to cut a long story short... while I quit..... he pretend to and found out he's still smoking, its driving me nuts he started smoking in the house in front of our 2yr old again... since I put my foot down about him not smoking in the house, he goes out every night to his mates to smoke.

Got him patches he won’t use as he doesn’t believe in nicotine replacement says he want to go cold turkey and he'll stop in a few days (been hearing this for yrs)

What can I do to make him stop ?!?

I would like to get into the music business.

But it requires hours of practice. I've been into music since before my marriage, but only began taking it seriously over the past year and a half.

My wife has no friends but me, and requires lots of attention.

My sister told me that my husband was jealous because my brother and I talk to much. She said that in-person he told her he wishes he would have met her first and that he would leave me and our children for her. She has proof that he also called her (she did not answer), and sent two texts: one saying "We need to talk," and one saying "Are you busy?" She told me this at least a week after this happened. He said nothing. When I finally asked him about it, he said he did not remember texting/calling and did not say those things. I brought it up again the next day and he said he hated to tell me this but my sister said something to him while they were in the car waiting for me that he cannot recall, he asked :Are you serious?", and then she said "Yeah, we can get it on." He then says sat in silence afterwards. He then says that he did call and text because he wanted to be clear that nothing was going to happen. Note I have not had any problems of this sort from them in the past.

I'm 25 years old and I've been married for 5 years and we were great from the start like usual. But since the start of this year our marriage has done a complete 180. He confesed he cheated on me with another woman back in june but I forgave him because I love him so much. Instead we've grown distant, so much to the point that for the past 4 month we've had sex 2-3 times max. I have gotten to the point were I don't trust him, I check phone bills just to make sure that there arent any numbers i'm not familiar with and second guess everything he says. This week it got so bad between us that we just about had called it quites but we talked it out and decided to make it work no matter what but to be honest with you I feel the loneliest I've ever been. I feel so alone and to make matters worse, when we agreed to make it work I told him that he has to prove himself to me in a matter of trust and he said I need to prove myself too so we can get our "spark" back. I do want to make this work.

and this guy who i slept with before
