I REALLY cant stand my bf farting all the time?

i seem to be the only person in the whole world that thinks farting isnt funny. call me a prude, but i really cant stand it.

ive told him a hundred times not to sit around and fart all over my stuff, but he never listens.

i know its a natural thing and all, but go to the freakin bathroom already. why do I have to deal with it???

am i wrong to feel this way? part of me says "just get over it" but really, its like nails on a chalk board to me. i cant stand it.

We live together, so yeah, I get to hear it all day every day. And his diet is pretty much the same as mine, and I make it to the bathroom in time.

P.S. I'm really shocked and thankful for all the support, i really expected more ppl to be like "its natural, get used to it" and "grow up"

I don't blame you...yes, it has to be done, but why guys have to make a scene over it is beyond me...gross...just leave the room if you have to do it...I do NOT want his poo particles waifting into my nose...that is disgusting...My husband is awesome, he will totally leave the room if he has too...he knows I am so grossed out by the whole thing...

As a guy, I am probably the first to admit I think it is gross. Some guy's do it in my workplace and they soon regret it. At least have the decency to go outside or to the bathroom.

Why people do it and think it is funny I don't know, I personally believe it is a form of bullying.
Anyway, obviously talking to him isn't helping. move on to other measures. When he does it, leave the room yourself. If he is remorseful for clearing you out then he may stop. If he thinks it is funny that he emptied the room then take other measures:
Farting on his dinner should work to show him how gross others feel it is.

On the extreme, if it is bothering you that much, there should be no reason you need to consider a long term relationship with you being unhappy, let him know that. He will probably counter with something like "You are going to break up with me because of a fart?!?!" You reply will be a "Yes I will, you know I don't like that but you do it anyway, why should I be forced to live like that forever". Either he will stop, or he will leave. Either way you wont have to deal with it anymore.

He may have a problem that he's trying to cover up by making a joke of it so you need to politely ask him about it and tell him there are products he can take that are not that expensive to deal with it.
If that's not the case tell him he's being disgusting and you're not impressed. It's nasty and you don't have to tolerate it then leave or make him go.

tell him to stop farting or this relationship is over if he don't take it serious then go get a can of beans eat the whole can then fart over his face then leave him

hey, if hes doing in purposely(some guys like to fart loudly-they think its funny), tell him so. and the next time he does it walk out and let him know you will not stay around long as it can come between your relationship.

if hes not doing it on purpose, help him by printing some articles on how to better digest his food. be tolerant with him in this case.

if farting bothers you so much...then what do you do when you fart?....seriously....if he is like doing it ALL the time, like every 15 minutes, then i can see were its annoying, but if he does it like 3 times a day...then get over it....
as long as he is doing it in private and not in public, then i see no harm in it....

WHat your bf needs is Gas_X or beano. don't know how you can stand a bf like that who has no respect for you. But since it's your bf you need to convince him to change his ways. But he won't show how much he really cares about you

Farting is gross. Just tell him that it really bothers you. I mean, its funny sometimes, but not all the time.

i have to agree, i don't find the farting thing funny either, i had this co-worker who thought it was funny to walk up to ur desk like he wanted to talk to u and then fart, i wanted to f'n puch him out but he was the boss's pet, go figure.....u really need to tell ur b/f straight out how much u hate it, it's probly his diet that's giving him gas, one thing that causes it is eating fruit on top of other foods, the fruit ferments as it waits to be digested, u need to eat the fruit first...mention that to him...good luck

That's funny. My BF asked me to stop farting in front of him. Maybe I'll consider this request after all.
