I'm trying to figure out why my girlfriend says some of the things she does. I have been accused of being a little hypersensitive in the past, but I see most people being either hurt or at least taken aback by some of the statements she's made. Examples: Told me I need to lose weight, I'm not the biggest she's been with (not solicited), no sympathy when I work late "aww, poor baby", tells friends/family in front of me that I drive a POS, makes jokes about things I just got written up for at work, and last weekend only worried about how it affected her when I canceled dinner to rescue a friend on the side of the road. I understand keeping a sense of humor, and a little ribbing for mistakes, but I generally look to my partner for emotional support and this has been the opposite from my perspective. I've given up discussing work problems with her because she works longer hours and has zero sympathy. How do I handle this? She expects me to keep her feelings in mind when talking btw.

Its only been 8 months and i feel that already my boyfriend is losing interest.. i told him from the start i wanted to wait for sex, and he wasn't thrilled but said okay..

We have done everything else, intercourse aside.. and while this is great i know what he really wants is to go all the way.

My question is not whether to sleep with him, I HAVE decided to wait.. my question is HOW to keep him interested because i really don't want to lose him?

well im 16 n i have been dating my current boyfriend for 6 months now.and i feel really close to him and i can talk to him about anything.even though our race is different(im brown skin and hes white) i still love him. i think i wana spend the rest of my life with him.he makes me feel special .we have our fights but he still makse me feel better.i even gave it up to him. i really think im in love ? is this wrong?

There is this boy who is 14 from Africa who came across my profile. He gave me a very sad story about how he had lost his parents and he wanted me to be his mom. He asked me if I could send him a notebook and some pencils, I said sure. Now everytime I chat with him he wants more and more things, now he has even asked me to send him money and he wants me to hide the money in something so that the Africa postal workers can not see it. Right now I have not sent him any items or money. I don't mind helping someone in need but how do I know if this kid is for real? Also if he is as poor as he claims to be how is it possible for him to have a computer and a cell phone? I don't want to turn my back on anyone that is in need but I am on a fixed income and I do not want to be taken advantage of.

all he does is sit on the couch all day drinking beer and watching tv...he doesnt even speak unless some one pisses him off...the kids and i usually just pretend he isnt even there and do our own thing.....his attitude keeps getting worse and it seems like he is never satisfied and is so unappreciative of me and the kids and the things we do for him..how would you deal with someone like this??

We were out with some friends watching football yesterday, and at halftime, I began surfing the net on his iphone. I was looking at youtube to find a certain video, clicked on his history (cause I knew he had watched the video recently), and found at least 6 xxx videos he had watched. So, not to cause a scene, I left and watched the rest of the game at home. I have not confronted him about it yet, as friends came over last night, and I did not want to ruin his good time. Although, he knew I was upset over something.
It makes me feel like I am not good enough. Right now, I am 16 weeks pregnant with our 1st baby and we have only had sex about once every 2 weeks, as I have been so tired. My body has only changed in the fact I have larger breasts and I have gained 3 lbs. I am already freaking about how unsexy I will look....but I have still continued running 3-4 times weekly and lifting 2x a week--I even ran a 5k yesterday. So, is it about me? Should I talk to him about it?

I dated a guy for two years, he did not have any male friends except me, his ex gf and his ex wife. he is 15 years older than me. Whenever we had an argument, his ex wife would take him back. However, after few months later, he wanted to be with me again. This situation has happened once in the past... Should I take him back this time? Or, should I move on..... What should I do? I am a light skinned brotha (mixed with Arab and Black American) I have always prefered dark or brown skinned women. I especially like Dark and Brown skinned women from The United States. Many of my Arab cousins mostly date white or asian women.

In America I have noticed that some light skinned folks (not all) say that I am to "pretty" for a dark-skinned girl. (I don't know what the hell that means). My mother is dark brown skinned and so is my grandmother and so on. I prefer the type of women I am familiar with.

Question for you

1. Is it racist to prefer brown and dark skinned women over lighter skinned girls?
2. Why is it percieved that "at least" in America that am dating down the scale if I prefer one?
3. What is up with Black American sistas, that you all seem to dispise each other based on skin complexion? (I am not trying to start an intercultural race war, but in my fathers country of Ehtiopia, Black is Black.

Im 20 (will be 21 in a few days) and my husband is 23. We have been together for a few years and we love eachother so very much! Heres the thing... we are ALL eachother has. Neither of us have any family at all, none what so ever. No parents, aunts, uncles, cousins.. nothing. Its just us. Well my problem is that I think i am too over protective of my husband. I dont like him driving anywhere because im afraid of him possibly getting hurt. So i drive everywhere. He has not driven his car in probably 3 months. When he is at work im afraid he is going to fall off of a roof or a ladder. He has NEVER mentioned anything about me being over protective I just feel like I am. Is this normal? Do i need to relax? If I lose him or if he got hurt i would be destroyed. I just need some advice if Im being a nut or what. Thanks so much

visits her almost every month.he lives in another country.everytime he comes he stays at our home.but the house has just 2rooms,and everytime,they force me to go to a hotel,or wherever else,because they want to be alone.so,4the last year,almost everymonth,i spend 2-4days in hotels,or to homes of friends.i don't feel comfortable at all.i feel so shamed when i go to spend these days to a friend's house,because i must lie.i never tell them the real reason.i've explained to my sist how i feel,and she said that i say all that stuff because i don't want her to be happy.
what else can i do?i'm bored and too much annoyed with that situation...she would never do such a thing for me,and she doesn't understand how i feel...
please,help!any advise?what else can i tell her?

ps:i live with my sist,and we both go to university.

My husband has weekend visitation with his 2 sons age 15 & 10. His oldest son is 19 now. about a year ago, we learned from the oldest that his mom had threw a birthday party for him in which she provided alcohol & pot. The youngest boys were there, pics were taken. We enlarged the pic, showing a young boy (not ours) smoking pot with them. We reported this to childrens service. They investigated (so they said) then told us it is not illegal for a parent to give their child alcohol. They just sort of blew off the pic. Over past year we heard rumors the boys are left alone alot while she goes to bars & she drinks daily. We have the boys this weekend. The 15 yr old called her to talk to her last night, I didnt know he was on phone, accidentally picked up heard her screaming cussing him. She was drunk. He cried says dont want to live there, she does this alot & when she is in bar He walks little brother around town. She has parties til 4 am school nite brings strangers home.

Im 14 and just had a massive fight with my mum because i broke the computer desk by accident. Shes so unreasonable and just caries on the argument even when im in tears!!! I wish i had never been born.I would run away but ive had lessons about homelessness in school and it sounds rubbish, so im just going to lock my self in my room for the rest of my life and talk to knowone! Any ideas on what i can do know? and i my dad doesnt even know about the desk yet... im dreading it! please help before i do something i reget!!!

I mean, I say "hi" to them when I meet them outside, and that is all. I am not interested, I have my own life. But some people told me that it's because I am a spoiled brat. Is it really a must to meet your neighbours and be friends with them? It seems such a chore. Maybe it will be to these neighbours as well, why can't we stay as we are?

I'm 12 years old, but very mature and independent. I still sleep with my parents at night, but on weekends I usually sleep on the couch in the living room watching TV. Like I said, I'm very mature and I can do a lot of things on my own. It's just that I'm an only child and I love my parents. I want to spend as much time with them as I can. I've searched for other questions like this and some people said it's ok until college, and others said not at all. I believe until I'm at least in high school. I'm in 7th grade right now.
