What is a good way to get engaged?

You really should figure that out yourself according to what you think your partner will like, not what someone else thinks is "cool." Try and figure out what kinds of things she would think are romantic and special and then go from there. My husband proposed to me on Christmas in front of my family... it was really sweet and my family means a lot, so he knew that it would mean a lot to make my family a part of it. Use the knowledge you have about your sweetheart and then use you imagination to make is special. Good luck!

The way I dream of getting engaged is my partner and I going for a drive at a local lookout where you can see the whole city of where we live. We'd be looking out over the city and out of the blue he'd take my hand, look into my eyes and ask "Will you marry me?" At the lookout there is a little restaurant and after he proposed and I said yes of course, then we'd order a bottle of champagne and toast each other. I doubt it will happen that way but hey a girl can dream!

I think it depends on what you guys like to do together. If you are both romantic and like things more intimate take her/him (I assume nothing) for a picnic at twilight/dusk. Go the whole works, wine/champagne, red roses, her/his favourite food etc. and feed her/him beautiful chocolates, give her/him a foot rub and shoulder rub then gently kiss her/his neck and as you kiss around to her/his face look her/him in the eyes and ask her/him.

If you are more adventurous take her/him on a hot air balloon ride and pop the question while you are taking in beautiful views and when you finished go to a restaurant to celebrate.

I once wrote a short story in which the guy and his girl were having pizza with some friends. The guy said to his best same sex friend as he pulled out the box with the engagement ring, "Carl, would you do me the honor of being my best man," as he opened the box and offered it to his girl. My wife thought that was kind of cool.

i say if u want to be romantic do it in the privacy of ur own home if u can cook even better make it look like yall are in a restaurant etc. and of course shell know by than whats going on if u don't always do romantic things but it'll make her so excited.it doesn't really matter if she really loves u then she just waiting for u to ask NOW,lol good luck

My fiance took me away for the weekend. We had dinner in our hotel and then went outside where there was a white horse and carriage waiting. It took us around and then the driver stopped and said he had to get something (i thought he was selling drugs). Then my BF got down on one knee and popped the question. Best day ever. Doesn't matter what you do - suprise is the best though.

take he rout to where u 2 first met n ask her in a surprise or take her out to somewhere u hav lots of memories and ask her OR take her out somewhere completley new n nice like a resturaunt n ask her and if u 2 r more outdoorsey plant her something nice n put the ring on a leaf or flower or something n say "look at that one!, its bloomed perfect"
