I am a light skinned brotha (mixed with Arab and Black American) I have always prefered dark or brown skinned women. I especially like Dark and Brown skinned women from The United States. Many of my Arab cousins mostly date white or asian women.
In America I have noticed that some light skinned folks (not all) say that I am to "pretty" for a dark-skinned girl. (I don't know what the hell that means). My mother is dark brown skinned and so is my grandmother and so on. I prefer the type of women I am familiar with.
Question for you
1. Is it racist to prefer brown and dark skinned women over lighter skinned girls?
2. Why is it percieved that "at least" in America that am dating down the scale if I prefer one?
3. What is up with Black American sistas, that you all seem to dispise each other based on skin complexion? (I am not trying to start an intercultural race war, but in my fathers country of Ehtiopia, Black is Black.

2. We live in a world where it is "bad" or "wrong" to hav darl skin. This isn't only n th US, in India there is a product call fair & lovely. It makes u lighter, and the commericals say know matter how much talent u may hav, u wont b famous or accpect unless ur lightskinned or cld pass white.
3. I am a lightskinned and i hav alot of ppl always thinking tht I know this or tht I dont 2 work hard like the dark sistas. I did i am being treated unfairly. White ppl r also trying 2 get "blacker"-tans, fuller lips, big butt. Does any1 luv themselve.

This question starts off like you are a guy, brotha. Then it says pretty, dark skinned girl. I prefer the type of woman I am finilar with. So wuz up are you male or female. Either it is too early for me, or was to early for you.

If you were proud of who you are, that would not come out your mouth. So what, your bros date white women. I date anything I don't care, but you have ethnical issues. Just buy some soap for your dirty smelling self instead
