I just got engaged but I'm not sure if I'm wearing the ring on the correct ring finger hand... Should I wear it on my right hand ring finger? or on my left hand ring finger?

I'm Asian and I don't know where Asians normally wear it ( I know wedding rings are worn on the right...).

I LOVE oral sex. When we started dating he went down a couple of times but then he quit. He says he doesn't like to but every other guy I dated loved to do it. He said it grosses him out b/c that's where I urinate from. I told him that sometimes it grosses me out to go down on him if I think that way. I told him that pleasuring him is worth it and once I see how excited he gets it turns me on and I enjoy it. I've tried to compromise and ask for it only on special occasions. I've told him what I like. I'm a very clean person and at the very least always trimmed but usually next to bare. So is he being selfish or am I being selfish for asking him?

My fiance and I have been through it all, together almost 5 years had seperated for a year and a half and we share a child together. Since we've been back together he's read my journals page for page, put other girls before and threw out pictures of exes ( which i really dont care about.. if i was digging through my stuff and found them i would have rid of the anyways that was the past and i've been looking foward to OUR future). My problem is that he recently went through his boxes and kept dozens of pictures of his exes...DOZENS. Even girls he dated while we were seperated which really hurt. It was a slap in the face, a double standard. Why would he hold on to his past yet throw mine away?? He kept love letters and pictures of an ex girlfriend he calls anytime we are having problems. My biggest problem was the girl he slept with while we were seperated yet claims he had no relationship with her but kept her picture anyway.

(Editors Note: This classic piece of feminist humor appeared in the premier issue of Ms. Magazine and was widely circulated in the women's movement.)

I belong to that classification of people known as wives. I am A Wife. And, not altogether incidentally, I am a mother. Not too long ago a male friend of mine appeared on the scene fresh from a recent divorce. He had one child, who is, of course, with his ex-wife. He is looking for another wife. As I thought about him while I was ironing one evening, it suddenly occurred to me that I too, would like to have a wife. Why do I want a wife?
I would like to go back to school so that I can become economically independent, support myself, and if need be, support those dependent upon me. I want a wife who will work and send me to school.

why is it that questions like "how many answers can I get in the next 10 minutes" get like 30 answers and the poor people on here who really need advice only get like 2-6 answers? And then on other questions that really need serious answers people put down things that are mean and/or stupid.

Don't you see that the stuff that happens in the movies and romance novels is not real? *Real Life* doesn't happen like that. There is no *Prince Charming*, no *Mr. Right*, no "soul mate". That's why you're all getting played like Sega and laid like carpet.

Recently, (6 months ago) I started dating my best friend of 12 years. I guess he has had a crush all these years. Our relationship is perfect as in, we are very compatible and respectful and very much in love and he says he is "very very happy." Last night I found out he is getting me a computer for christmas and possibly a new couch. I almost cried. Not because I was thrilled, but because it seemed so impersonal. I don't have much in life, I chose a degree in human services, so big material items don't matter to me. Am I a ***** for not being aprpeciative for what he plans to get me? Or am I crazy for wanting a small bracelet or necklace because it is more romantic? I am open to all answers-even if they are rude because I always liek to be more self aware.

What have you learned in your years (or less) of marriage? What would you now change if you had the chance to? What would you never want to change? What kind of advice would you give young women about to get married? Please add how long you've been married and if you don't mind, your current age. Thank you so much!

My husband acts like a teenager lazing around his parents' house, or an untidy houseguest. Not like an adult, that's for sure. He never puts his dirty dishes IN the sink, but leaves them on the counter. He leaves his trash on the counter near the trash can but never IN the trash can. And when he opens a drawer he only half closes it. Who is supposed to close the damn drawer? ME? What is this man thinking? Or has the thought process simply stopped.

Hi all,

I am getting married in 2009. We have alot to plan. I need a little help with a problem I am going through. My fiance has a best friend that he has been friends with since he was 4 years old. He is loud and I think a complete problem when he is drunk. Well, there has been two incidents that have occured since the 2 years I have been with my fiance. The first being, one time his friend was drunk at a party we were at and he put his knee on my butt as if he was playing around. But he did it hard in front of his wife. He later apologized for that. I accepted his apology but still a little weary. Another incident, was at a wedding we were all at. We were all sitting at the same table at the wedding reception. I have to admit, I am a very shy and quiet person when I don't know someone, especially infront of strangers. I don't drink and I was tired at the end of the reception. His friend yelled at me and said you don't drink and don't talk..what do you do! I just cried

I am happily married and love my husband but I am not in love with him anymore.
In 10 years of marriage I have fallen in love with 2 other men when I wasn't looking for love outside my marriage.
I have always been faithful and I don't want it any other way.
I have been judged and got answers saying what should or should I not do but these are not the answers I am looking for.
I LOVE my husband and want to stop falling in love with men that are not him.
Is there a professional psychologic explanation for this?
I am married and want to be in love only with my husband and nobody else. Why can't I control my feelings?
Help!
Thank you.

me and my boyfriend hav been together for almost a year now, and basically with christmas soon coming up, i suggested to him we spend it as a couple with our families. i said to him we go see his family first then mine and then we both go back home together. but he doesn't want this he says if i loved him i'd spend it with just him, i've always spent xmas with my family as i believe family are important. he's met my family once he never makes an effort with them he just doesn't want to mix in it's like he just wants to keep me to himself. i really can't take it maybe he's not the person i thought he was. i don't know what to say to him, i love him but i don't want to have someone who don't want to make an effort with my family they have no problem with him what so ever just i think he doesn't want to get to know them. what do i do? can i overcome this with him?

I'm 23 years old and my boyfriend of 4 years is very interested in getting married -- I think he's planning to buy a ring around December.

A lot of people say I'm too young and that I need to enjoy being a bachelorette and living my life before getting tied down.

My parents had some work done on their home but couldn't have it all done at once because of the cost. They wanted a little time to pass to hire the workers to come back and finish the job. My husband heard this and offered his skills to finish the job. My parents were excited that they wouldn't have to wait so long now. They all set up a day and time for him to come over. After the work was complete, thank you, handshakes and hugs were given by my parents. Ever since then my husband has been complaining that he should have been paid and is hurt that they didn't even offer him anything. No mention of payment was ever made so I think he should not have assumed he was going to be paid. Am I wrong? should my parents have paid him?
