I just got engaged but I'm not sure if I'm wearing the ring on the correct ring finger hand... Should I wear it on my right hand ring finger? or on my left hand ring finger?
I'm Asian and I don't know where Asians normally wear it ( I know wedding rings are worn on the right...).

everyone else does , ring finger on left hand.

Asians, as with Americans; wear their engagement ring on the same finger as their wedding ring. If your wedding is worn on the right ring finger, then the engagement ring also should be worn on the right ring finger, as you have accepted the promise of matrimony from your intended spouse.Does this clear things for you? I work with Asian nurses who explained this to me!!!

well, I am from Australia but we have lots of asian tourists here. They wear the ring on the same finger as the western people.
Left hand, ring finger. (both engagement and wedding rings)

Typically, the engagement ring goes on your left hand. Once you get married, the wedding band goes inside of the engagement ring so its closer to your heart. I've been told wearing a ring on your right hand just mean friendship.
I'm asian and wearing my engagement ring on my left hand.

Wedding rings are usually worn on the left hand. The wedding band goes on first as it is closest to your heart. Then put the engagement ring goes on next. (On the finger next to your pinky)

Asians normally wear their engagement rings in Asia, LOL.
Um, it sounds to me like you are actually Asian-American, and because of that, I think you should just go ahead and follow the American tradition of wearing it on your left hand. You could ask your Asian relatives at a later time if you are supposed to wear it on the other hand instead.

It doesn't matter that your heritage is Asian.
If you live in North American, wear the ring on your left hand. If you live in Europe, ask some of the woman around you where to wear the ring. Same thing if you are living in some other part of the world.

um if you are American you wear both rings on your left hand ring finger.
I think the engagement ring is a western tradition
