I know this man who cheated on his wife with different women, ended up leaving his 3 young boys and divorcing his wife to go and stay with the woman he was cheating with, he also cheated on her before they moved in together. Do you think he will do the same thing to her. Everyone I know says he will......but he hasn't yet......so do cheaters settle down - his father did the same thing and stayed with the woman he cheated on with.

I am afraid that if they come to live with my husband and I our lives our going to be turned upside down and I honestly don't know if I will be able to deal with them. They call my husband stupid, idiot, tell us both to shut up and that we are pissing them off. I don't approve of this language and lack of respect but my husband says nothing to them. Lately I have been. The worry here is that their mother works nights and weekends and the oldest (16) takes care of the other two, 14 and 10 as far as making sure they brush their teeth and take their medicine, they have developed asthma from poor diet. The oldest is in bed still at 9:00 her bus left at 7:15 because she didn't finish her homework over the weekend. She missed three days of school last week. Truant officers have been to their house in the past. I think we should persue custody for their sakes, however there is a part of me that wants selfishly to live in peace and keep my daughter away from them and their attitudes.

I know lots of people who are attracted to or have been in long-term relationships many times. But I rarely meet guys I am attracted to and if I do, they then have to clear the hurdles of being single and interested in me - which is less and less likely as I get older. (Im 34).
I have met a guy who has a great personality and is great to me but I don't get butterflies in my stomach about him. I enjoy his company a lot but I worry that it's jsut because I'm not used to guys taking an interest in me, romantically or otherwise.
Is the whole romantic, butterflies in the stomach thing a myth? Do you either get great compatibility or great physical attraction and have to make a choice? Does anyone ever find both - in all honesty?

We've been travelling all summer and I was devastated to come home without getting engaged. I couldn't think of a more perfect time to do it, no worries, no need to work, visiting beautiful places. I've asked him whether he includes marriage into his plans for the future and he says he does want to marry me but he can't understand why cant I just be happy with the fact we're in love and happy together. How can you be unsure after 3 years? I've told him I don't want a ring and would like a few years to plan a wedding but still no proposal. Am I wasting my time? Please no 'why don't you ask him' or 'its just a piece of paper' answers!

My daughter's biological dad is no longer a part of our life. He was abusive and had some drug problems as well as alcohol problems. He lost is parental rights two years ago and was calling me about once a month up until a few months ago when the calls just stopped. When he'd call, he'd always be drunk and trying to fight and I would hang up on him. I have no idea where he lives or how to get a hold of him and we have no reason to speak to each other. I don't miss him calling, but I worry about how the calls just suddenly stopped- if he's okay or if he's in jail or dead or whatever. I have no way to contact him, and that part doesn't really worry me- I'm just worried that something bad happened to him. Is this normal?

How do you get through them? Any tips?

I would never get back with her but sometimes I get this horrible feeling where I just miss her terribly.

I mean we were together for 2 years and lived together for 6 months.

I ask because after two months of no contact I sent her a drunken text the other day saying I missed her and am really regretting it. ( It was after I looked at our holiday photos, BAD mistake, don't do it.)

I am 22 years old. I never knew who my dad was, and I was totally comfortable never knowing.
Well, my mom decided to introduce me to my grandma and uncle on my dad's side. I really like them, which is a suprise, because I didn't think I would. I have yet to meet my dad though. Actually, he still doesn't even know I exist.
Well, my new Grandma and uncle have this plan to introduce us at a family christmas party. I'm not too sure how that's gonna go over...
I'm pretty confused right now, I mean I didn't ask for all of this new family, and I'm not even sure I really want to meet my dad. I do plan on keeping a relationship with my grandma and uncle though, because I really like them.
I am just so confused right now, I really don't know what to do. Any suggestions/advice appreciated

He drinks everyday and on the weekends he drinks himself drunk, what can I do if he won't go to AA or read his book of how to stop? I also was just recently offered a higher position with a very reputable company earning a significant amount higher than I was previously. I see light at the end of the tunnel, I can presently make my minimum payments and feel that with this new position I could eliminate all or atleast most of our debt, I am not an avid spender, these debts are due to a new home we purchased and completely remodeled and renovated. I want to make this work but Im not sure if he does. I also want to make sure that if we try once again we dont fail like all the other times we have. We're currently at the point where he wants a divorce, he says he can't handle being with me knowing that I have not been 100% honest with him, my biggest problem is that there is 1 more credit card where we owe 9,000 that he is not aware of... I dont know if I should just tell him about it or wait to see what happens, I really wish I could make things work with him, I love him dearly, he's a great man, a great father, he's just a little narrow minded and only sees the negative things in me, he's constantly telling me how everything is my fault, look at where we are because of you, I trust my dog more than I trust you, he evn told my children I am leaving because your mom is a liar. My daughters are 6 & 10 I think this was a little harsh for them to handle, I have spoken to my family and they feel he suffers from an inferiority complex, we are both very hardworking adults, I just recently returned to school and obtained my MBA please see other post..

Hi every one.

Iv just spoke to my bf of a yera n half and he was so nasty to me .

Iv been in my current job for about 4 mounths and i always call him around 12 (i start at 9 and he doest wrk) just to see how he is and i called him to see if he wanted me to cook him dinner before i go out to my poart time job and then he just started on me telling me that he is sick of the same routine of me calling him wen hes not long got up in the morning and he told me i was persesive which i dnt think i am! So as he was ranting dwn the phone i called him a horrible t**t and put the phone dwn. Do u think i should call him or just leave it (Not completley0 Just not call him till later on.

Sos if this doesnt make sense.
