I know this man who cheated on his wife with different women, ended up leaving his 3 young boys and divorcing his wife to go and stay with the woman he was cheating with, he also cheated on her before they moved in together. Do you think he will do the same thing to her. Everyone I know says he will......but he hasn't yet......so do cheaters settle down - his father did the same thing and stayed with the woman he cheated on with.

The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Most cheaters do continue to cheat. It's very likely he will cheat on her ; after all he cheated on his wife to be with her and he's already cheated on her at least once. It's not a good record on which to start a relationship.

Its simply who is in control.

If the women has the upperhand the cheater man would settle down. As you mentioned he is staying with this woman and not that the woman moved in. That means the woman has kept him, he has not kept her.

Heis afraid to be kicked out if caught again. She already knows his history well so do other women in the area.

Your question is irrational. Most all men have cheated or will cheat if the right opportunity arises. You are trying to take the example of this one man who has taken adultury to an alltime high and apply it to a very general concept.
Yes the guy will cheat again, obviously this is a yes due to is history. How he applies to all men is like night and day since not all men who have cheated would opt to have three kids with the fling they are cheating with.

I think that it is different for every person. There are many different reasons that a person cheats. Until you know what the cheater was living with, a simple yes or no answer is not possible.

I know that cheaters CAN stop cheating but usually its the ones that cheated and got kicked to the curb the FIRST TIme. WHen cheaters are able and allowed to cheat and cheat and their mates KEEP them. It just empowers them to keep on cheating.

My ex cheated on me, I forgave him but it was never the same. I was always looking out the window waiting and wondering where he was when he didn't come home. After we split I found out about alot of other women. Now he is living with the one he cheated on me with and guess what he has cheated on her. Now she is the one waiting for him to come home.

Some do, some don't. Sometimes people see the error of their ways.

That's the best answer anyone's going to give you. People don't all act a certain way.
