I am feeling really down lately and I can't figure out why. I am pregnant with my 2nd child, have been with my current boyfriend for a little over 6 months. It seems that nothing I do is ever good enough for him and I'm always wrong in the things I do or say. We fight over EVERYTHING. I will try to say something to him and he will immediately start getting mad and yelling, so then I get quite, because I don't want to be yelled at, then he gets even more mad because I'm not saying anything! When I don't talk about how I'm feeling, or try to explain that I really don't know why I'm feeling so down lately, he gets mad, but when I try to talk about it, he gets mad also.. it seems I can't win. He always brings up the fact that he is helping support me and my daughter from a previous relationship, and tells me if I don't like the way things are than I can leave. When I say maybe we need time apart, he threatens to take me to court for custody of our child when its born, etc..Any suggestions?

My mom has been married to my step da for a long time and now she is pregnant with his 4th child. He has been knowing me since I was 2. I have been doing the dishes ever since I was in second grade. Only because he told me mom that I needed to. I am now in 9th grade and I am still cleaning his stupid kitchen!! He has a daughter in 5th grade, a daughter in 2nd grade, and a son that is 4. His oldest daughter gets to do everything that she wants. I only got tho go to the skating ring once in my life. And that was in 6th grade. She has gotten to go alot and she is only in 5th grade. She has no chores around the house and she is lazy. Everybody has sattelite in their rooms except me. I have no tv in my room. The 2nd grader is just as spoiled. I have another sister that is not his child and she is 13. We are really close because we both have chores while everybody else chills. My mom has to ask my step dad if I can go somewhere. She will not let me do anything w/o asking him. What can I do?

I run my own business, maintain 7 vehicles, take care of a couple dogs, have plenty of time to date and vacation, I keep my own house, do my own laundry, shopping and cooking.
The housekeeping related chores take less than an hour a day and maybe 2-3 over the weekend.

Women talk as if it is some insurmountable task to dust or vacuum.
The worst part is some guys actually believe it.
These women are at the spa, or salon, they're shopping or at Starbucks with their friends, or they're boning the gardener or UPS man. They spend an hour doing house keeping chores and when " He" gets home she b!tches what a hard day she has had .
I gotta call a big B.S. on this one.

Anyone else know where I'm come'n from on this one?

My sister lost primary custody of her daughter (11) years back, due to money issues, and other things. Since then, her ex husband has made it impossible for her to contact their daughter, won't bring her to see her etc. Well her ex husband called her today and said, "Im bringing you your daughter." My sister is beside herself, and so excited, but she's scared to death, too. What could she do to make this transition easier for her older daughter, and for her other kids? Also, should there be some sort of document drawn up so the ex husband can't just swoop in and take their daughter again? And saying that he gave permission for her to live there?

Me and my ex-girlfriend talk every now and then and we get along really good and I think there may be a chance in the future for us to get back together. If she has told me that she misses me and a lot about our relationship, but isnt ready to give it another try yet, does she really want me back eventually or is she just playing games with me. Is it worth the effort or is the past in the past and should not be revisited?

Yesterday a friend (girl) touched my head and I got really pissed , but still, I maintained a right way of approaching this
and asked her to please not touch my head. Right away she said, "oh, sorry..I didn't know you were all delicate"...WTF?
I felt like telling her twenty two ounce self to shut her sloppy self up, and act like a lady=)....Is it me, or am I the only person who doesn't appreciate or, feel it's necessary to touch people when greeting or having a simple conversation? I believe in the hand shaking, but even then I automatically want to wash my hands..am I a snob, or what?

He's got this twisted view on what depression is.... he thinks it just temporary sadness or stress.... I have been depressed for a long time and I've been in counseling so many times and all these times he didnt even know for what... so we got into this huge arguement last night and I tried to explain what it was and he claimed that I wasnt depressed and him feeling like that made me want to cut myself again... he makes me feel so horrible about myself, he thinks taking care of our child and doing some chores around the house is supposed to help my depression but I kept trying to explain to him that the house could be totally perfect and i will still be depressed, can someone help me help him understand what it means to be depressed? I tried showing him some websites but he has too much pride because in his thick skull he thinks he understands it and doesnt need textbook to educate him. Please help me

My Ex-husband & his finance wants to come trick-or-treating with my daughter & I, including my boyfriend. I thought it was great at first since he's never had a halloween with our daughter. Plus, I thought it would be a great opporunity for us to get to know each other better. But when I mentioned it to my other half. He just rolled his eyes like he wouldn't be taking part in this. Am I wrong for thinking that all of us could get along & do things together for my daughter? Should I be mad at my boyfriend if he doesn't come along with us?

Ladies, my lovely wife and I will be celebrating our 1st anniversary next month. We are going away the weekend before the actual date, for I have to work on the actual date. We agreed that this trip is our gift to each other.
I want to surprise her with something small. I want to have our first dance song (by Terri Clark) written in caligraphy and put in a frame. Does this sound corny , or does it sound like a loving, original gesture?

Lets say, you have a friend (who smokes major weed, all day) anyway, your friend has a little brother who has gotten into trouble and was previously involved with drugs.Due to his (the brother) actions he was sent off to "juvenile programs" to better himself in this and out of state.Well, the mom finally said okay none of this crap has worked for this kid, now, I think he should stay with his brother (the major weed smoker).Yeah, like thats any better=).I feel it's necessary if this kid is here to better himself, it's probably best if he gets away from that house as much as possibly because of the influences around him. This is none of my business and I don't feel it's my problem, but, I was there once and I can't help and care a little. This kid likes to hang around me and I took the kid to church, he liked it, he asked if I could pick him up for bible studies on wensdays as well.My question is Am I sticking my nose where it doesn't belong?

I used to be a music major (singing) but now, as a junior, I am changing to music education so that I'll actually be able to, you know, get a job! :)

Anyway, I am transferring to another college. I saw my counselor this morning and he said that's fine because I already have a lot of the required classes, but because now I am dealing with education it will take me an extra year. Is graduating at 23 instead of 22 really okay?

Im getting married next month and we're just having a ceremony and a nice dinner for close friends and family. we're not having a reception/dance or anything. Just gonna go out to eat at a nice restaurant after the ceremony. Do you think its ok to wear my bridal gown to the restaurant or would it be too weird?
