Ladies, my lovely wife and I will be celebrating our 1st anniversary next month. We are going away the weekend before the actual date, for I have to work on the actual date. We agreed that this trip is our gift to each other.
I want to surprise her with something small. I want to have our first dance song (by Terri Clark) written in caligraphy and put in a frame. Does this sound corny , or does it sound like a loving, original gesture?

Your gift to your wife is PERFECT ... since 'paper' is the 'traditional' gift for a first anniversary, getting the words to that first dance song done in calligraphy is WONDERFUL ... and if you just 'roll it up' and tie it with a ribbon so you can both, together, 'shop' for the frame or 'scrapbook' to put it in, that will make it even MORE special.

That is a wonderful gift. I think some silk rose petals and some tealight candles with it would also be a nice addition. Makes for a nice romantic gift.

Does your wife like this kind of stuff?

I would think it was corny, but most women would probably love that. If your wife is more of a "typical woman", she'll be thrilled.

Actually, surgically removing a scale from the human colon is a fairly safe and simple procedure these days...it's removing one from the para-nasal sinus cavity that's tricky...

Sounds sweet, but it really depends on your wife. Is she likely to think it's corny or sweet?

I guess it depends on her. Is she into romantic things? I know most women are but I am not really..But I would have to assume she'll like it. That is really thoughtful of you!
