My Ex-husband & his finance wants to come trick-or-treating with my daughter & I, including my boyfriend. I thought it was great at first since he's never had a halloween with our daughter. Plus, I thought it would be a great opporunity for us to get to know each other better. But when I mentioned it to my other half. He just rolled his eyes like he wouldn't be taking part in this. Am I wrong for thinking that all of us could get along & do things together for my daughter? Should I be mad at my boyfriend if he doesn't come along with us?

No, its his decision. Perhaps he's aware of your magical thinking. Why not simply let your daughters father and his fiance take your daughter out and you spend some quality time with your b/f.

Ex's.. wonderful arent they?
Your case is from jealousy of the current relation, why? Who knows, I mean they are an ex for a reason right!??

Anyhow, do what you can to make it happier for the kiddo to see you all getting along so he/she can feel like he/she has 2 homes and not just part time place with the non custodial parent.
