My boyfriend had a baby from a previous realationship, she was 6 months old when her idit mother shook her and killed her. My boyfiend had a bond with that baby the minute he held her,and is not going through a depression phase is there anything me and my boyfriend can do to make our loss easier to deal with. It's not easy seeing him cry himself to sleep at night. And i want to make him feel like he can talk to me but he just lashes out at me and takes it out on me. Any advice?

Hi All,
First of all I don't want any one insulting my hubby. We both love eachother alot.

But I need to help him, he is very short-temp , if I say something that he does not want to hear, he will call me words I hate hearing. Like BI*** it hurts me alot, and when he is calm I tell him I hate that ..he says I say it to hurt you coz you annoy me sometimes. Its been 2 yrs marriage now and I we both can't imagine life without each other..so don't gv me divorce options.
If he wants to annoy me more, he starts singing and he makes a song saying oh my life is a mess since i married you blaa blaa..in a funny tone and high pitch. I want him to be matured but don't know what to do????

Counseling is something he won't even welcome, coz he finds all that funny.

If some one faces the same situation let me know.

ok last year on halloween night i was at a halloween party at my friend's house and this guy kept looking at me and flirting w/ me. I didn't flirt back becasue he looked about 16 or 17 and im 13.A different guy wanted to show me something and i went to go see what it was. I guess the guy that wanted to show me what ever it was was the guy that was flirting w/ me's friemd. So i didn't know that they were friends and i went into this hallway and he pushed me into a dark room and then i felt someone grab me and throw me on the bed. I heard the door lock and then some one was taking my clothes off. I said no over and over agina but he told me to shut up . HE put a bandana in my mouth and i tryed to get up but i had tied my hands and feet to the bed posts. He got on top of me adn started to ..you know. Then he whispered in my ear 'if you tell any one i will hunt you down and do it again even harder!" then he left and his friend came back in a untied my hands. I went home after it. was i?

Hi I am the youngest Aunt in the family and I have 5 nieces who are in the ages of 20-25. They like to wear expensive clothes (Rock Repulic, etc, $200 jeans) and branded bags (Gucci, Channel etc.) 3 of them works part-time, 1 working full-time, and 1 not working not in school either. We are all average people, earning enough to get by. I like wearing branded clothes and having branded bags as well, I have these material things luckily because I have a great career and a wonderful husband. It bothers me that my nieces have these expensive things seeing their parents work hard, even in the weekends. Onetime, one of their parents had approached us to borrow money. I feel so sad that I see this going on and on. Additionally, everytime we have a family gathering, these 5 nieces of mine looks at me from head to foot, doesn't even talk to me. They look at me as if they are trying to know what brands am I wearing. Next, time I plan to dress very simply, is that the best to do?.

My wedding is in less than a week and I just found out that two of my relatives (my grandmother and her 17 year old adopted daughter) who at first said they would not come, are now coming to the wedding. I know it sounds horrid of me but it makes me kind of upset that they are coming. The reason for this is because they both constantly argue with each other in public for the most ignorant reasons and both a VERY VERY bossy and yell at you when they don't get their way. Well I was informed when they arrive they were going to help setting up everything the day before the wedding. I am so stressed out with the wedding that I'm afraid if they "help" that I'm just going to explode on the both of them. Has anyone ever been in a situation close to this? How can I handle it if things get out of hand with them without losing my temper?

I am 18 years old, never really had any type of relationship with either of my parents. I go to school full time 9-4 tuesday through saturday and also work 5-10 3 of those 5 days. if you can imagine im pretty busy and usually exhausted. I just recently got a car after arguing with my parents for 3 years about me not being allowed to get my liscence. My dad told me ( when i was 18 ) that i would be kicked out if i got it. But i still did anyway, and eventaully we agreed that it would be best for me to have my own car so i could get myself to school/work, ect. They even offered to pay for my $2000 car, because they said " if we can do you this favor, we will" but now its been fight after fight, telling me when i can and cannot use the car, when i should clean it ect. They yell at me when i want to sleep out at a friends, and try to control every aspect of my life. Tell me im a scumbag and have horrible hygiene when i cant get around to clean my room. I just want opinions on what to do.

A friend of mine just tried to commit suicide by taking a lot of pills (Zanax) and now she is in the hospital. My mother and sister just went to visit her but I haven't gone yet. I do know her through my sister, and she wasn't my friend first, but I do consider her a friend who is close to my heart. I don't know what to do in terms of visiting her or what to say when I see her. Or what to say to her mother. It's an akward situation and I've been in her place before, wanting to die and not succeeding at it, and I also know how akward it is to have visitors in the hospital.

I recently found out that my fiance used to be a call-girl working in California over 18 years ago. We are in our 40's and on our second relationships now. She is wonderful in bed, and once she broke down and shared her past with me it disgusts me that she is so skilled. I appreciate her honesty, I fell in love with her now not her past, and She was only "employed" with the escort service for 3 months till she got busted by an undercover cop. How many guys can you do in 3 months? A Lot I bet!!! And to get to the point in life where it seems like an OK option is scary also. Not wanting to end the relationship over her being honest, I am not retarded, but trying to deal with my own feelings of judgement(I know it is not right), disgust, and embarassment if anyone I know ever found out. She€ came clean since we are getting married and she afraid of apply for a government job and the background check showing her pandering charge.

Hi. My boyfriend and I have dated for over 5 years, but not until recently have things got "serious," meaning with the potential for marriage. My parents finally invited my boyfriend over one night for dinner. My mother cooked, went all out. It was just him, and my parents and my sister and I. Small dinner for my parents to get to know him. It was the first time he was coming over. What did he do? He comes over with a bottle of $10 wine in one hand and some old, dead flowers in the other hand. I was so embarrased and upset. I had expectations of him bringing a large bouquet of flowers or something, and he did not. I wanted his first impression to be a good one, and when he left my parents first comment to me was, " is he cheap or stingy?" He is not, but that is the impression they got and I am so mad at him now that he is not talking to me. Someone please help me and tell me what i am supposed to do!!

I have been with my boyfriend for two and a half years (I'm 18), and we are very serious about our relationship. For me, I think family is more important than a career, so when I have finished university I would like to get married and start a family and get a 'normal' job (and use my degree when I'm a bit older, e.g. mid/late-twenties).

However, my grandparents are saying that I am too young, I'm being stupid, I should live life a bit first, I won't be able to enjoy myself, etc, etc. But I don't enjoy going out partying - in fact, almost everything I do enjoy are child friendly activities - e.g. theme parks, bowling, etc. My Nana in particular also says that our relationship will not last, I'll have other boyfriends, and I'll have changed my mind before I am 21. I disagree, but she doesn't care!

So, please could I have your [sensible] opinions on the matter? (I don't mind if you think it is too young, but justify your answers please!)

Thanks in advance! =)

I have known this male friend since high school and we always been good friends. We would hang out, go to the movies, restaurant and etc. We lost touch with each other since I been married but he contacted me recently and wants to hang out again. My husband does not believe that a female and male can have a friendship without developing feelings occuring. We're both in relationship and have never crossed that line with each other even when we both were not in a relationship. I told my husband I think he feels this way because he always ended up in bed with his female friends. I would never do any thing that my husband did not like but I just think he is taking it out of proportion because I believe two people from the opposite sex in a relationship can be friends. Is it possible or am I being selfish.

I was in a relationship and about to get married when we had many issues that came up, sometimes without the knowledge of my fiancee. We tried to deal with these issues and they got worse. I have done my very best to recindle our relation but for reason, my fiancee thinks that I am making things up about her daughter and not try to appreciate her. This has caused me great heartache and disappointment although I try not show it most of the time. I am still trying to find help for this girl eventhough her mother and I are no longer in a relationship. If there is anyone out there who can give me advise, please do so. Thank you all for your time.
