Move on. You may have feelings for her, but she doesn't have any for you. Anything you do is just going to make you lose your self respect. You didn't "mess up"- these things happen all of the time. There are plenty of girls out there who will like you, just as you are. Go find one and stop wasting your time with this one.

I know exactly where you are (my chase has been oh, 24 years long)my friend and here is the scoop. Nothing you can do will "Make" her come back. Let her know how you feel and wait. Do not wait forever, but as long as you feel comfortable. I myself did not "wait" and when I found him again he had not waited either. We have a wonderful relationship now, and do alot of stuff together. Sometimes it is just fun stuff with our families and other times it is, well you know, a little more. Both my honey and his wife are aware of our relationship and our feelings (weird I know, but better to be honest) and life just goes on. Point I am trying to make is, wait and realy wait and maybe, just maybe she will come around but DO NOT hold your life for her. Honey it was only four months (our break up was after 8 years)

Don't be so insecure! Stop blaming everything that went wrong in your relationship on yourself! Grow some confidence. Women do not like insecure men. This may be why she left you in the first place. You may not be able to get her back but you can chalk this one up to experience and move on. There are some great do's/dont's on dating on askmen.com that I thought were very informative.

She used to like you, and now she doesn't. What did you do before that you didn't do now? Check that out. I will take a guess. You paid her attention before, and now maybe you didn't anymore. You were mysterious to her before, and now you lost your mystery, that's why she reacted that way. Maybe you are now more predictable. Woo her again, surprise her with little things, not necessarily expensive items. It's the message that you are sending, that's she's important to you.

Maybe she is just testing your love for her. Go and get her some flowers. Girls want a guy to put up a fight for them. You want her, prove it! But dont be her doormate either. No when your defeated but for right now you have nothing to lose so give it a shot.

You probably didn't mess up. She got bored - it happens. You'll find someone one day who loves you for who you are. Don't change, just be yourself. The right one will come along. Just realize she wasn't it. I'm sorry, I know it hurts.

If she gives you a chance to prove your love for her, it means she still loves you. But if she doesn't, sorry, i think you should find a new girl. Good luck! :)
