No, it is not weird. MY mate and i go shopping all the time. He is into some of the same stuff as me so he gets my opinion on stuff. Makes sense to me!

i think is ok, because if you enjoy it than do it, and of course is sometime better to have female opinion, you know, they can give you advice on things that could make you more attractive.
