There was no ring invoved, and it wasn't your usual "will you marry me". He said that he wants us to get married and that we need to start planning right away, he asked if it would be okay. I was overwhelmed (with happiness) and said of course! Is it considered a proposal, though maybe not the ordinary sort? We've started doing simple planning things (ie: discussing what kind of wedding, who will be involved, how much we want to spend, a date). Am I engaged or am I just planning a wedding and waiting for a proposal? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Oh, and by the way... the no ring thing isn't an issue for me. I've always wanted a spontaneous proposal... with or without a ring, I think that can come later if the current moment feels perfect.

this might be my last chance with the girl i love. i talked to my x gf this past weekend and she told she might be gettin engagement and leaving to california with this guy that she met 2 months ago she live out of state but she came to town for a conference i asked to meet and she agree, she agree to meet me with the attention of just seeing but it ended up that her feelings resurrected for me. i love her too. we talked and i told her to not leave with me that it should be me that should be with at the end of the convo she told me she is torn between me and this new guy she still loves me but is scare of getting hurt again but she also mention now she is confuse, she also mention his negative side. i ask her think about it and she said she will, because she doesnt want to leave with him and be thinking about me she call me 5x today and text me 4x
what can i do to convince her that i m the one for her
any one ever in this situation

You fall for a married woman and she suspects it, or worse still knows it. You don't have the nerve to ask tell her about it and she feels that you are shy, thereby taking the initiative to lead you on. You are too taken aback tnat you can't even talk to her. She calls you at times yet you are now afraid of her yet you still want her? Want her physically and no-more. What would you do if you were in this scenario?

Yesterday, I asked my husband if we could just cuddle . he said he was busy reading.I felt like he was not considering my feelings and I told him how it made me feel. I also brought up a few occasion I have felt like he lacked affection.I felt like most of the time he is affectionate is when we are making love.I told him that sometimes he is not very kind with what he says and that it hurts me .I did not mention the good things he does during this conversation coz I felt that I needed to let him know what I thought was wrong.well, he got mad at me and now he will not talk to me coz he says that I do not appreciate the good things he does &should consider the good aspects before I paint him as a heartless monster.he said his reading is important.we have a good relationship &get along well but sometimes when I try to tell him something he will either hear me or he wont &then he gets made and will not talk to me for days.tell me what I did wrong, how to solve this & how to avoid fights

well i seem to get along with the guys i know! but even though i asked one of them out (the one who i though liked me the way i liked him)he never responded.......i didnt take it hard or anything but it makes me wonder.....am i too intimidating for him or any other guy just becaus i am a tomboy???i really wish that i could have someone......the real question is ....do guys find me too ungirly to date,or am i intimidating because i take karate and i hunt and i am not afriad to stand up for my beliefs.........what shoudl i do....i cant give up my life for a guy please i need advice of some sort

Im 21. I was asked to hang out by a girl inever met a week before spring break. she said she recently broke up with her bf. i didnt want to be a rebound and set myself up to get hurt. I hung out with her three or four times before the break. There was never really a good moment to kiss her b/c mostly her friends were there so i just put my arm around her, snuggled, played with her hair, and she fell asleep on my chest once. (and i only knew her a week) I dont think i moved too slow b/c we still talked A LOT the first half of the break over the phone, texts, etc. I said i was glad i met her and she was beautiful and i couldnt stop thinking about her and she agreed. But she started getting very distant all of asudden for no reason halfway through the break. when we got back i told her i liked her (less than two weeks after I met her).she said she didnt want a rel. at the time. she then put love msgs in her aim (back with ex-bf?). What did i do wrong so i can learn for the next time??

My ex bf is a such a pain in the neck. He has got no life,n is a useless piece of s***. he now has a new gf(who was once my fren...but not close fren.). the gal's ex BOYFRIENDS ARE MY EX BF'S CLOSE FRENS! now they ended up together..n his new gf is not a virgin...got f****** up by his frens... n the best part is BOTH OF THEM THINK THEY ARE MAKING ME JEALOUS BY ROMANCING WHENEVER I SEE THEM IN CAMPUS.AND ESPECIALLY THE GAL ACTS "CUTE"...I WAS SO DAMN PISSED. I am in need of ideas for wedding favors. I would like to do something economical, but defineatly no bubbles or candles. Do you have any ideas that are unique? Maybe something people can actually use? It will be an outdoor wedding, so I will have handheld fans.....I would like my favors to useful after the wedding as well. Ok I go out with this guy and we "love" each other and I have a male friend that I am really kool with and my boyfriend knows about him b/c we went swimming together before. . .but I'm not attracted to him but I think he kinda likes me and yesterday he called me and we went out to eat. . .but I told my boyfriend I went with some friends. . .but would you call that cheating? i am to the point of no return with frustration !!! i feel like i am the prep school to make bad men better men FOR OTHER WOMEN!!! i've had guys break up with me because my income was more than theirs by far or that i was too career oriented, before that ive had guys breakup with me because i didnt have a job. ive been broken up with just to find out that another girl is moving into the house that i helped him close on and decorate... do you get my point i feel like im fighting a losing battle!!! so my simple quesion is what is it that men are looking for in a woman??? and i mean REALLY !!!

I have heard that trashing your wedding dress is a sign of committment to your new husband. The fact that you are never going to need that dress again. I think it sounds fun and cute, but when I brought this up every one of my inlaws (the women) criticized me for it. I just don't see why I need to just store it away. I could sell it, but it would be a hassle advertizing cuz I would only get a little bit out of it anyway. What are some thoughts??

I have a friend, lovely girl, she is a bit on the chubby side. She decided to go for an untraditional wedding dress. It's light pink. She honestly looks like a pig. The dress is REALLY tight and shows ever roll. She has kind of a stubb nose and there are a lot of ruffles on the dress and she is wearing a weird pint hat. She is totally a nice girl, and usually very good looking. But it is amazing, she looks like a pig (the animal). I was not hte only one to notice the resemblace at her fitting, but we were all too afraid to tell her. It is wrong to just give her a head's up? Maybe an anonymous letter. She's my friend, and I don't want her asking us later why we didn't stop her.

my husband earns a lot more than me and I contribute to the household relative to my salary, so I technically live beyond my means as it wouldn't be practical for me to eat economy beans on toast while cooking him fancy dinners, or whatever. But now he wants to trade in my old Renault Clio so he can buy a nippy little convertable. He's got a jag estate, but I don't want to have my car bought for me, and would feel uncomfortable driving it to a place of work where people are on much smaller salaries- I'ld be embarrassed- should I let him have what he wants?

I have a problem with being overconfident in social situations. I oftentimes know just what to say and do to create feelings in both guys and girls. This allows me to create feelings that make them become a better friend of mine. How can I stop being like this? I want it to end!!
