One of my dearest friend seems rather down and overwhelmed. She's had a difficult couple of years that include alot of stresses with money, work, and children as well as some other things.
The most alarming things I have noticed lately is her house and her children. Her husband and their children moved into their first house this year. My friend, who would normally be very excited about fixing it up and making it look nice has not even finished unpacking half of her stuff. Her house, which she normally prided on being very clean is a complete mess 99 percent of the time- kind of in a way that friends (including myself) find it disgustingly gross. The most alarming would be the "drop" in her parenting skills for lack of a better phrase. Things that she would normally be appauled at hearing other parents doing- she now does herself. For instance, she stays up late and wakes up long after her children are awake and they are far too young to be awake and alone roaming the house.

Hi All. I am wondering if you think this is reasonable, or not. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 years and he says that he wants to be with me forever, but will not legally marry me because he is afraid that since I am on Med-ical (and SSI), that if he dies, someday (before I die), that the state will possess his house and property instead of it going to family. He has put a lot of money and hard, long hours of work into building his house, so is this a reasonable concern of his as to why we should not get married? It especially bothers me because I am a Christian and feel that marriage is a commandment, as oppossed to just living together. Thank you, everyone.

My parents have Cigna insurance. I understand that I am no longer a considered an eligible dependent when I am legally married, but I am also a full time student. Which status is the dependent variable when considering eligibility? If I'm married AND a full time college student, does that mean I can't get coverage?

Well my mother died of a major heart attack last month! anyway that night i was at a party and when i got back there was no one home this is normal in my household so i didnt think anything of it i proceeded by playing on my computer when i got a phone call from sister and she said i dont know how to tell you this but mom is dead... i thought she was joking till my other sister that was balling her eyes out told me my first reaction was nothing! i didnt cry i didnt feel sad i didnt feel happy either i arrived at the hospital and there was family all around and they were all crying i was the only one not crying i didnt even feel sad.. i eventually cryed but it wasnt for losing my mom it was for not feeling sad about losing her! I guess one of my reasons could be that growing up she was a great mom but had an alchahol problem she drink everyday when she was sober she was a great mom and i loved her but when she was drunk i hated her! should i feel like it doesnt matter that shes gone?

i have this friend who i like. at this party. i "dared" my other friend who is the sister of the guy. i told her to tell the guy i like him but saying that its not true (hope you guys get me:)) but i told her not to tell it was from me. i also told her to tell him after i left. the next day, my service mate was there when my friend told her bro and my friend told my service mate to tell me about what happened yesterday. and when my srevice mate told me, and later that afternoon my friend called me. they both said the same meaning so maybe ya it wa true. they said something like when my friend told my crush he said "shh." because someone was sleeping and ater that he laughed and smiled. what does this mean? does he like me?? or no??

Ive never been able to ask a girl out and Im Nineteen.

Nor have I ever felt comfortable showing intrest in girls who I have liked over the years. Althought Ive always been shy, I never go too long without having a girl show lots of intrest in me. But it always eventually ends, because of how.. *terrified* i am.

3 weeks ago the girl i liked shocked me by asking me for my number, and gave me hers. She said we should hang out sometime, but continuing the way Ive always been, I just dont feel comfortable calling her up.

Ive always been withdrawn socially. Ive never been able to let a girl know im intrested.

Anyway. I realise the way I am has to change. What can I do to go about it? You can make comments about how pathetic this makes me sound.. But I already realise it.

I was dating a guy he turned out 2 b a jerk played alot of games,lukily I got strong & stopped calling him for ex. while at his house he was on a pic with a lady, thought nonthing of it he & i were spending alot of time 2gether now fastforward 2 months the last time i was with him he {*moved out of his house 6/10*}.Now fastforward couple of weeks later I decided to ride past the house 7/3 there was a note the not was from the same girl on the pic that i saw when i was @ the house. Point I am trying to make is that the girl didnt know he moved!! Now when i would stay @ the house he says he was taking his mom to work found out that was a lie,He was taking the girl to work who had put the house in her nam e cuz he has bad credit. I had some issues in the past where I was emotionally abused by my bf. I got past that and dated a while but nothing worked out. I decided to stick to my morals, love me, go to college and do something with my life with no drama, no man. I did get my degree and have my own place and feel ready to start over. That said, I'm nearly 24, still a virgin, and have very little experience relationship wise than that of most people my age due to some setbacks. I feel over the abuse part, but I am not very confident with being physically active with a man (not just sex), not because I don't want to, but because I haven't done it very much, and at my age I will be expected to have. I feel like a 14 year old that wants to know how to kiss, how to make out, etc.. I've met this wonderful man that has been divorced and I don't want himto run on me because of this, any advice?

When i was 15, i took my father to court because they're was a lot of abuse (mainly mental). The judge granted my mother (my parents are divorced) full custody of me. It's been 10 years later and my father hasn't showed any interest to try to contact me. I saw him and his wife at my uncles wedding about a year ago. He came up to me and gave me a hug and said,"i love you." (I found out after the wedding that his wife, my step-mom made him come up to me at the wedding). I gave him my email address and told him to feel free to write me. He's never wrote me. I also sent him a christmas card this past christmas and he never acknoledged it. I know he recieved my card because i told my uncle to ask him if he recieved it and my father told him that he got the card. I leave the oppurtunity open for him but he never takes it. I'm getting married next year and my family keeps asking me if i'm going to invite him. i tell them i don't think i am. Do you think im right for not wanting to invite him

My dad comes to visit us and stays with us most of the time. He doesn't like my husband, and always tries to find anything to start a fight. Sometimes he just gets angry for no reason. I did my best to please him, buy him things he likes, take him to all kinds of places. But seems like he can never be satisfied. He abuses my mom very often, verbal abuses, hit her, many times. Don't know if this is already considered domestic violence. My mom told me once he tried to push her to the road while all the cars were passing by. He also uses knife at my home to threaten my mom, and threatens to kill my family including my daughters, threatens to set my house on fire...... What should I do now, should I call police? He is a leagal perment resident, will he get deported?

I really dont understand why couples do these things it doesnt make sense to me why they want their marriage to be like this..My husband and i have been happily married 16 yrs and neither 1 of us would ever wanna be with another man/woman..It seems so wrong to me and doesnt seem like a real marriage....Are their husbands/wives not enough for them,dont they worry about catching an std from somebody,dont they worry about their husband/wife leaving them for another person..I think when your married making love should be just between a husband and wife and not other people..Doesnt seem like their totally committed to their marriage and each other...Does anybody agree with this.

She does alot and I think she needs a break. I want to do somthing really nice for her. She runs a day care out of our home and is around children most of the day.
