Your right. The grass is greener till you've jumped it and then realised some mongrel mowed the lawn or you jumped straight into crap. Lol!

The grass is never greener on the other side but somehow Human Nature compels us to seek out the unknown only to be disappointed once we get there. It always appeas to be that way til we get it and the grass isnt as green as it first appeared. I guess thats where " nothing is always as it seems" comes from, but yet we all must try in the hopes that someday it just might be instead of just being thankful for what we do have

I was married for 16 years, and tried my hardest to make it work, I didnt believe in divorce because I am the type of person who will stick in there thru hard times, but to no means did it work, and the grass is not greener, after 4 years of divorce I still struggle financially big time, but in those four years my ex and I have raised our daughter peacefully, we are cordial with each other and there were some ups and downs but all in all it was peaceful no dirty playing with each other's lives, and my mind was set on that, that I would not make this a bad divorce when it involved my daughter.... and another import thing is I am happier, and I am the person I lost when i married that guy....

If you are speaking of divorce, the grass in never greener. You may be happier in some ways, but you will be just as disappointed in others. People are people. The other problem is that the divorce will follow you the rest of your life in one way or another. Don't get a divorce until you have exhausted all available means of saving the marriage. Don't tolerate physical abuse, but almost anything else can be overcome!
All the best!

Grass is everwhere, in all colors. Some looks green, but it's a sickly green. Some of it is just weeds. Some has rose seeds in it. Some grass blows with the wind... Some grass has a sign, keep off the grass, and it's really keep off the broken glass shards of a twisted, painful past that they'll never get over.
The key is living with your choices, not always taking the safe bet, being responsible, and considerate.
This was the best question I've seen all week.

the grass is always greener on the otherside, until it requires care & attention. Everything and everyone needs some kind of maintenance. i believe you should walk around the fence instead of jumping it, because you never know whats goin to get caught on the barbs.

OH yes...I have! I jumped for greener grass more than once & yep, they ended up being mistakes. But....taking risks isn't neccesarily a bad thing, it sure makes life more interesting, haha.
