most answers people give are-DIVORCE-DIVORCE- even when it is a minor problem that can easily be worked through. Why is there so much intolerance and impatience when it comes to the vows. Breaking up a family isn't a big deal anymore. Are we chasing a picture perfect hollywood movie or soul mate?

I am engaged to a wonderful man, but the only problem is that I have children from a previous marriage. I currently am able to get government assistance to help with cost of health care. If me and my fiance get married, will that affect my assitance? We really want to get married, but are afraid we can't afford additional health care costs. Is he still responsible for providing health care even though they aren't his biological children?

I'm a recently divorced 29-year old. My ex and I were separated for two years. When we separated, she was in her first year of medical school, and I was in my first year of law school.

I flipped out. I passed my classes, but I was an emotional disaster. I only kept working out of anger.

Now I'm calmer, I've graduated and am studying for the bar. But I feel that I've given the best years of my life to anger and my ex. I haven't dated much over the last two years except for a few flings.

Friends are starting to have kids, and I think I royally screwed my life up. I'm working hard for the bar, and it doesn't seem that anything will change soon. And I haven't had any real female companionship in a long time. I feel too old to do anything but work, like a slave. But I realize I have a life ahead of me, I just can't see it ever being any good. Any thoughts?

BTW, I've been in treatment for depression since the separation.

How young is too young for a 26 year old to date? And does the sex of the 26 year old matter?

I'm scared my boyfriend is only about sex. Its young in the relationship, and I want to know if his motives are true. What are some signals that he only wants me for sex, and then nothing else. We haven't had sex yet, but its a possibility in the near future. I don't want to continue if I'm going to be used, so guys and girls, how do you know?

Now my b/f thinks that I have cheated on him with this guy, I have not done that and I have told him that but he says he needs time to figure things out. Someone please help with some advise.

My husband and I have been married for 12 years. We've had some great times and some really sucky times. The entire relationship can be described as a roller coaster ride. I think I'm ready to get off of the ride. We seem to have no conversation, no physical intimacy or do any fun activities together anymore. At one time we had all of these things, until his porn and cybersex addiction became such a problem. He says he will never do it again, and I want to believe him, but I just have no more trust in him. He has said, "I will not do this anymore," several times. I've always given him another chance, once again to discover he had not given up his addiction. I cannot get past this. I really don't know if I even want to try to anymore. I just want to be happy, and I keep having this reoccuring feeling that I need to move on with the rest of my life without him. I feel like I'm stuck between the past and the future, but am unable to live happily in the present. What should I do?

I am worried about my mother-in law. she is consistently hinting that she will follow my husband and I wherever we decide to move. We've recently begun living together, and will be ready to move within a year. She is a nice woman but it clingy and unable to take care of herself any more than a 6 year old child. she consistently talks to me about adopting my future children "in case you don't want them"/ "you're not ready", but I personally don't want anything to do with her, becuase she never does anything unless she wants something in return. I'd like to say i'm a strong person, but I am afraid that my husband or I will give into her guilt trips since currently we are living with her until we find a place for ourselves (which will be completed within a year, as I said). I believe she will bring it up as we attempt to move, along with "oh you're abandoning me"/"stealing my baby"-like remarks, and wanting to follow.
we don't want her to live with our future family. What should we do?

Things have happened to me in the past that are shameful and could have possibly have to do with the law.I feel like my past will make my future lonely.I feel like I deserve things that come upon. How can I truely let go? Should I try to take to someone,I try to do a lot on my own.

Would you be pissed if your new husband said he wished he could have taken his two kids with you on your honeymoon? Not mine, from his first marriage.

She is 37 and she is getting too desperate, and though she is a "little" overweight, she is really pretty. She is Belizean and has two kids, me and my older brother, both teenagers. Or do you you know anyone, or anywhere she can go to to get help? Thanks in advance.

Do you think that attraction is a choice or not? Do you choose to be attracted to someone or you just are attracted no matter what you do. Can you choose who you are attracted to or its just happens by its self?

My future husbands brother has problems with their cousin who I happen to get along with and have as our personal attendant. A few months again the brother told us he wouldnt be part of it because of his wife having a problem with me who I hardly know. Now they have a problem with the cousin and told us he would be the best man if the cousin was not there. How would you handle this? ARRRRGGGGHHHHH

I want to hear from woman only on this one.

We've been married for 15 years, together for 18 years. We've had problems from the start. I asked her if she had met someone and instead of saying "no", she paused momentarily and then said "why would you ask me that?"

I'm leaning toward that meaning that she has met someone else. Am I wrong about this?

ok heres what happened. my best friend had a crush on my boyfriend, but like any good friend she never said anything to me about because she could see how happy we where together. so when we took a break....i guess they started going out, but she didnt know we where back together so when she found out she broke up with him, and she was suposed to tell me, and i wouldnt have been mad because it was an acident and she didnt know. but she never told me, so my other friend told me and then i tryed talking to my boyfriend about it and he got all upset and denied the whole thing. but my friend that went out with him says it totaly true, and i dont think eaither one of them would lie to me, but if one says its true and one says its not, so someone has to be lieing, but who. i love my boyfriend and want to be able to trust him but i also trust my best friend. i dont know what to do.
