Things have happened to me in the past that are shameful and could have possibly have to do with the law.I feel like my past will make my future lonely.I feel like I deserve things that come upon. How can I truely let go? Should I try to take to someone,I try to do a lot on my own.

Hey Love Peace Stability, everyone has a past so hopefully eventually you will forgive yourself for you past indiscrestions. Also as long as you have learned from the past then you can walk with your head held high. So please try and look at life as the glass being half full more often then half empty. As you age your maturity will help you realize also that you are not alone in having a past and this will help you feel better about your future also. Make some life goals that are achievable and go for them, then set your sights a little higher.

We all have pasts (and things we're not proud of having done) and there are always consquences to the things we do, but we also have a tendency to over-think these things instead of giving ourselves the forgiveness necessary to move on. Unless someone is actively looking for you (in which case posting this question was ill-advised) it's likely that the only one beating you up about your past is you. So if you've already adjusted your life toward a healthier direction, applaud yourself for taking that step (a very brave and big step), forgive yourself and push on. You can give back by giving this same advice to the next person you find lost in a similar situation. And everything will be just fine. Good luck to you.

Most of us have done things in our past that we are ashamed of. When you first meet a person you don't have to open up and let them know everything about yourself. Take time to get to know each other. It sounds like one of your important values is honesty. Holding nothing back. You continue to judge yourself and not forgiving yourself. An important thing to remember is what you did (a behavior) is not who you are. You don't change who you are but you can change what you do. Think of the reason that you hold on to what you did. What is you pay off for holding on to it. If someone truly loves you they will not judge you. They will love you for who you are as a human being. If a person will not do that, you don't need them in your life.
The only way your past will have an impact on your future is if you let it. Try not thinking of yourself as a bad person. You have learned from your past. Now is the time to enjoy the present and look forward to a happy future. believe it or not, you do have the skills to accomplish this. Believe in yourself.

well you did something bad, get over it, life doesent rewind back to those bad things, forget the past, it never happened. Its nott gonna ruin your future, just live to your life to the fullest and make every minute count. bet you when have fun and live life to the fullest and make every minute count you wont even know the bad things that happened. If its something really bad like stealing money from the bank or whatever then its better to go talk to the police before they find out and get you in trouble.

Good luck!!!

Well, you're not using the prison computer and you're obviously not on the street so whatever you did must not be as bad as you think.

So stop beating yourself up, ok! If you did something in the past? So what! What's done is done. Life doesn't have a rewind button.

Move on with your life, stop dwelling on past mistakes and be constructive with your time.
