My two years old nephew have some issues with computers. He wants to use it all day long to hear some music and he jumps in to a very bad mood if you try to take him away. I thinks this is not normal and I tried to talk to my sister (his mom) and my mom (his grandma) but they dont hear me. Please tell me if this is negative so I can tell them and help him.

My little girl that is 3, throws the worst tantrums, screams and yells and hits. I try to put her in time out, but she continues to scream and yell. I try to talk to her calmly but she can't even hear what I am saying because she is so loud. I can't win. Any suggestions would be helpful!

What is the world coming to when we cannot punish a child for doing wrong when he/she takes no notice of a telling off.
There is a definate line between beating and smacking and as long as it is not crossed I do see the harm. I along with my brother and sisters had many a slapped backside it didn't do us any harm. It certainly didn't scar us or teach us violence.

Our 20 month old boy bit my wife hard enough on the neck to leave a serious mark yesterday.
Then today, he bit our other 6-year old son on the stomach.

His behavior has changed dramatically the past couple days, lots of screaming, yelling, throwing fits and anger on his part.

If he was a dog, I would guess he had rabies! Any idea what this is? Or could it be the start of the "terrible twos?" Any ideas would help, thanks!

What can I do to help foster her early development? I read at age 3 as well and I do not want her to be bored in school. She's in a preschool now and knows more than all the other kids her age. She is starting to regress because the other kids are not as advanced. How do I keep her from baby talking and just pointing at things? She never used to do that. I noticed children at her preschool doing it and I think that's why she's doing it.

What's wrong with walking? The kids are bunched up in a stroller and almost as big as the parent. They look like 5-7 years old. That's wierd to me, and maybe one reason why kids are getting bigger and bigger...lack of exercise. I have a 3yr old. If we go to the mall, we may walk around for 2 hrs to shop, but she walks.

If so, did you have any luck with them at all? My son just turned 2 and I am ready to begin potty training. Our pediatrician says I'm wasting my time at this age with a boy, but I'm not convinced that's true, so I'm going to start anyway. Everytime I give him a bath, he pees in the bathtub AND stands up just to watch himself pee so that leaves me inclined to believe that he knows when he has to pee. I bought some of the "Cool Alert" pull-ups but haven't opened them yet, and just wondered if any of you guys have used them and had any luck. Also, any other potty training tips would be welcome. I've not potty trained a boy before and I've heard it's much more difficult. My daughter was COMPLETELY potty trained by the time she was his age!!! Wish me luck and please give me your opinions!! Have a great day!!

My son had a fever on Fri at 102 degrees. I gave him Tempra and it went away, he seemed fine. It came back later that night and on and off yesterday too. He has it again now. He is very fussy and coughing a little, but he doesn't seem really sick. When should I take him to the doctor? Has anyone else had a kid with a mysterious fever?

ok so last night me and one of my roommates friends were at my house. She went to take a nap and left her kids with my roommate roommates son who is about the same age( two of the kids are 2yrs old and one is 4). I was in and out their room checking on them when i didnt go check on them for about 20 min the 4 yr old came and got me saying that the 2 2 yr olds were in the bed naked and touching each other. I hurried to the room and when i got ther the boy had the girl in the "doggy style" position. Now i dont know what his mom has exposed him to but i found this to be very inappropiate and seperated them and made them put on clothes to cover theirselves. Is this normal for 2 yr olds to do? How do you handle the situation? How do you explain this to the parents? I need answers fast please help.

(Can anyone advice on how to parent a child when the other parent keep undermining what you have said?)

When ever I tell my 3 year old son not to do something, my partner will often challenge me infront of my son. I have spoke to him about this but it only seems to make matters worst. It has reached the point now where I feel that I should not say anything. I expecting a baby in the next 3 weeks and feel that if I am having problems (being undermind and not backed up) with one child- it will be even worst with another. I am beginning to feel that my son hates me as I am seen as the 'kill joy'.

Before we deceided to have children- we discussed how we would bring them up etc. I have spoken to him about him undermining many times. The last discussion we had he agreed that he would not get invloved and would leave me to get on with it- however he continues....

The bag we had covering it had a hole on in it and we didn't know it. It is still hard but it seems to be pretty wet on the inside. What should I do? Will that cause problems on her skin?

When we go to McDonalds he gets so excited playing he will throw up? Also, if he is upset he will work himself up to the point he will throw up? It is not all the time. I take him to the park and this has never happened there. It just seems like when we go to McDonald. Sometimes we have just arrived, and he has only played for a few minutes. Any idea other than the obvious one of taking him to the doctor. I will bring it up at his next physical. Just to repeat myself it does not happen all the time just enough to concern me. He is a happy toddler in all other ways other than his speech and he is picking up new words daily. Let me know if anyone has ever heard of this. P. S. It has happened three times in the last month.
