He has never shown this behaviour before & i haven't experienced it with the other children. There is no stress at home or any that we can think of. Anybody else had the same. Is it normal to start having tantrums at 3 1/2???? I feel like we must be doing something wrong.

I have recently moved back to my parents house with my 7 month old daughter and they are great with her, but sometimes they get a little to involved with parenting her. They have been overheard calling themselves mum and dad to her and when confronted say they feel like they are her parents because they are still young and have children at home and dont mean to. What do i do?

My son is 20 months old and very tall for his age.He is 95% for height and 50% for weight.Everyone tells me he looks too thin and I need to feed him more etc.He weighs 26 pounds-and he eats average for a child this age.How much does your 20 month old weigh? My doc says he is growing fine but I am so sick of everyone telling me he is too skinny.

My close friend has a four year old son. They've been having a hard time lately so I offered to save her money by doing their laundry. When I was doing the clothes, she was out running around doing other things, I noticed that his clothes were either warn out or too small. I know what size clothes to get, but sock and shoes i don't. He's about 3'2" and exactly 39 lbs with his old shoes on, he kept stepping on my scale and it announced it for me to hear. I never got a look at his shoes, because i want it to be a surprise, so does anyone have any idea of what his shoe size might be?

She gets it one day but then goes right back to pottying in her pullup for a while. I've tried showing her the ropes and showing her what type of panties she will get to wear if she does, but all this to no avail.

My son turned 2 in August and he's more attached to his binky now than ever before. He will not go to sleep without it. He's already a hard one to get to sleep, some times takes hours. Any suggestions other than taking it away from him cold turkey would be great. Thanks..

Any mothers out there who has a son with this condition? My son was diagnosed with it. Our family physician told us to put him on hormones or give him surgery. I don't want to do any of that. I want to leave him the way he is, but I'm sure it will not be good for him in the future.

Okay so I understand the whole months thing. But it's when we start getting into the T's that confuses me. My daughter is 17 mos and 23 lbs- she is wearing ALL kinds of sizes. She still wears some 12 months, 18 months fit very well, some 24 months, 1 t's, and 2 t's. So what are the "T's" related to in months? Is a 1t supposed to be a 12 months?

I have a 26 month old that I am currently trying to potty train. I bought one that SAID for boys/ girls, but the only thing they did show was a boy bear doing potty! (yeah, I did buy a animated one, but she does watch it, which makes it SOMEWHAT worth it)... I want to find one that is real life for one, and shows a lil girl going potty... if you have seen it, can you tell me what its called? I would REALLY appreciate the help!

My (live in) boyfriend's son is getting to be extremely annoying. He whines and makes petty demands constantly (i.e., screaming about finding mushrooms in an omlet). the boyfriend doesn't seem bothered by this, but I am, and I worry about having company. Is 7 years old just too young to expect good manners, or should I say something?

At what point do you take your child to the ER or wait till there open? Normal cold/flu child 3yrs wont push fluids. Has only pee 4x today. I am packing a bag, I rather be safe then sorry. But still feel silly since its a cold/flu with a bad cough and from time to time throwing up. She has problems when sick w/ dehydration. So am I jumping to fast?
