4 hours ago, my 16months got a lollipop from her 3yer brother and accidentally got pushed then the bar got stuck on her upper jaw inside. The bar was shown about 1mm on the top. She was crying a while and there was some bleeding but couldn't have a look because she wouldn't let me do so. Later I found in her mouth a blue mark (like a hole) on upper jaw, sized about a grain of rice. She's playing, laughing and eating(less than usuall) and now she is asleep. Should I take her to the doctor? Or I can just keep watching her at home?

my daughter who will be turning 3yrs, has a breathing problem. normally when she's awake...she's breathing fine without any difficulties. but when she sleeps...she snores...sounds like she has a difficult time breathing. i'm also wondering if that's hereditary coz my husbands snores as well. the thing is she's still very young to be having that problem. my husband has a sinus problem which goes back to his aunts, uncles, cousins...there may be a possibility that my daughter inherited it. so anybody out there who had gone through the same thing? & what can i do to prevent this?

I have 3 children, a 5 & 3 yr old daughters and 15 month old son, My 1st daughter was potty trained by the age of 2. My second daughter is going to be 4 in February and still has no interest in going on the potty. I have tried everything from pull-ups, training pants, time out, talking about it, videos, books and even giving her the choice of a diaper or underware (she always chooses the underware). I cannot keep her in pull-ups she breaks out in a horrible rash. and I do not want to live covering everything in plastic or having everything stained with pee. what do i do? help?

My 2 year old girl looks like a one year old BOY, on account of her hair is very thin and has not grown much, she has a few curls at the back but that is all. I have never cut it. Most other kids her age have a full head of hair. People keep asking if she's a boy or a girl and it is FRUSTRATING ME. I know it sounds silly but what I am asking is she normal, are there other toddlers out there with this same hair problem and what can I do to make her hair grow faster?

My husband and I rarely need one, but we are both in school and both have a test on the same day.

My son is 3, it will be early morning and I will be back home before he even wakes up, I just need someone to sit in my apartment for 3 hours in the morning. What's the best way to find someone I can trust?

It seems our society is pushing us to make are babies into tiny children. No bottle after six months (yea, yea dental reasons), early potty training, hurry up and talk... Did we turn out so bad that we have to push our babies into adulthood in a hurry or is it a consequence of the instant gratification generation?

My son is 13 months and he uses a sippy cup and occasionally a bottle (but rarely). Besides possible dental repercussions, what's the big deal? Any one over 25 probably not only used a bottle till we were 3 but we were probably put to bed with one. *PLEASE do not get on your soap box on the evils of other mommies (namely me) I am only curious.

I have a 3 year old that loves to talk. She talk early and she is easy to understand. I have a 20 month old , who talk a little bit. He say mom and dad and all of the other little words that babys say. But when my daughter was almost two she could say whle sentces, but my son does not. Is it because of my daughter that he is not talking well. Or is it because he is a boy. I mean that is what I hear that boys don't advance as well a girl. Please nothing rude.

She will only eat toast with marmite, cheese, crackers, yogurt, MILK (lots and lots!) and of course anything like cake/biscuits (though not a fan of chocolate or sweets). I feel like we have read every book going and try and tempt her with everything, but she is so stubborn. It seems like the more stressed out a person gets around her food (i.e her Grandma really frets over it, and there she eats NOTHING) the less she eats.

Will this go on forever? I honestly have tried to offer her all the stuff like little pretty sandwiches, fancy meals, plan old fruit and veg - but she just drops it on the floor with a look of disgust on her face or tries to make me eat it!
