Food-orange punch, cake (homemade) that is orange or has orange icing, sliced oranges, carrots, orange cheese

Orange Milk Sherbert

1 envelope unflavored gelatin
3 c. milk
2 c. half and half
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. orange juice
1/4 c. lemon juice
3/4 t. salt
yellow and red food coloring

In a saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over 1 c. of the milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until gelatin dissolves. Set aside. In a large bowl, combine the rest of the milk with remaining ingredients. Gradually stir in gelatin mixture. Pout into cake pans, cover with foil and freeze.

Orange Brew

Use a blender to combine 1 cup milk, 1 6-ounce can unsweetened frozen orange juice concentrate, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 egg and 10 to 12 ice cubes. Whirl until thick and frothy, then pour into small cups. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

1) Make Vanilla pudding and add food coloring of the color you want.
2) Make Jell-O in the color you want and even add some fruit of that color.
3) Kool Aid Art - Sprinkle Kool Aid powder of the desired color on a large piece of white paper. Use Spray bottles to spray the KoolAid with water. It make some very interesting artwork that smells good, too!!!!!
4) Fingerpaint with the color you are "studying."
5) Fill the water table and add food coloring of the desired color and toys of the desired color.
6) Make some colored water using foodcoloring and freeze it in ice trays the day or night before. Then, Put them on trays or in the water table and watch them melt to make colored water. If you use different colored ice cubes, the colors will mix to make new colors.

Depends on age, but here are some ideas:
Orange sherbert and seven-up in punch bowl
Sliced oranges (can serve on whipped cream, decorate with candy to make silly faces)
Cheese puffs
Orange jello

Basket ball toss
Pass the orange (make up a silly song, when stops person holding orange gets a prize)
Pass the orange (make it more difficult for older children, have to pass the orange without using hands)
Use small orange ball or orange bean bag and throw to target with holes (most in win prize)
Orange lollipops (mark the ends of several, place in styrofoam shaped/painted like orange, keep the lollipop they pull- if marked get a prize)

Have fun!

For some games...Try a bean bag toss, with orange colored bean bags, or real oranges if you're brave and they can toss them into a basket. Bubbles are definetely a great idea. Grab a bunch of orange balls at the dollar store for kids to play with. Pin the stem on the orange (use velcro rather than a real pin). Toss the orange (like a water balloon toss only with orange balloons.) Guess the weight of the orange (or a few oranges) or play "Hot orange" like hot potato. Or a scavenger hunt to find orange objects.
For grab bags, put in a real orange or orange slice candies, some stickers, maybe bubbles or orange bath stuff, crayons and a coloring book...Good luck & have fun!

Cute theme :) You should easily find solid color partyware for this. Of course, you'll want the orangesicle cake. You can use those circus peanuts and candied orange slices for table deco or party treats. Sunshines can be orange. Bugs Bunny's monster friend who gets his nails done is orange. Orange aid to drink. Doritos and wedges of cheddar cheese with orange wedges and cantaloupe. Skip the games, 3 year olds aren't ready for that! Just let them play!

Bob for oranges instead of apples (peel them and put them in a bucket and see who can pick them up with their teeth and no hands). Give out Orange candy slices (they are like gumdrops but shaped like oranges and are orange). This is the best time of year because everything orange and black is out for halloween,so just buy the orange party favors and plates and cups and balloons and whatever and save the orange and black things and the black things for your halloween party if the come in the same package.

-have a pumpkin decorating craft, children love to paint, glue, etc.
-fish for oranges (either superglue magnets to the oranges, or instert hooks, take a pole, rod, small broom handle and attach the same either a magnet or a hook) fill a rubbermaid tub with water and place the oranges in there and have them fish for them and hand out small prizes for all the winners
-make orange lollipos (or order them)
-make orange cupcakes or a cake (use vanilla cake mix and add orange coloring or a can or 2 of mandarin oranges to the cake mix this will add color and great flavoring)
-make orange flowers out of tissue paper and pipe cleaners
make paper hats out of orange construction paper
hope this helps some --good luck
