4 hours ago, my 16months got a lollipop from her 3yer brother and accidentally got pushed then the bar got stuck on her upper jaw inside. The bar was shown about 1mm on the top. She was crying a while and there was some bleeding but couldn't have a look because she wouldn't let me do so. Later I found in her mouth a blue mark (like a hole) on upper jaw, sized about a grain of rice. She's playing, laughing and eating(less than usuall) and now she is asleep. Should I take her to the doctor? Or I can just keep watching her at home?

It seems like she is ok. All kids do stuff to get injured and in time you will figure out what is hospital or doctor worthy. My niece and my nephew have both as toddlers put bars through their soft palate and they were fine, my own four children have had their scrapes and breaks and they are fine. If she is sleeping she is not troubled. I don't think you need a doctor, it will heal. Just keep her near you when she has another lollypop. Relax. Just watch it for infection.
I just read Colleens comment and wonder if she has kids and indeed if she ever had a childhood. You don't have eyes in the back of your head so don't listen to her. As you said it is the size of a grain of rice, just keep an eye on it and maybe some teething gel ready if it shows any sign of infection. Salt water dabbed onto it will ensure infection does not implant itself. Kids are resilient.

As long as she's doing ok, playing and being herself, you really don't need to go to the doctor. IF there is an actual hole, take her. If it's just a bruise, get some ice it will make the bruise and swelling go down. She's probably not eating as much because it probably hurts. Give her some baby tylenol before mealtimes, it will help with the pain so she can eat.

I'd just watch her at home. Mouth sores heal very quickly. As long as she's eating and drinking it'll be okay. It's going to be sore so try giving her some nice cold stuff to eat. I know it's a little frightening but it'll be fine.

Why is a 16 month old allowed lollipops? I would take the child to the doctor to make sure no real damage was caused.

i woudl say she aught to be fine, but taking her to a doctor, or even a dentist just to be safe would be your best bet.. that could cuase infections that can become really serious and cuase all sorts fo problems, not only with her jaw, but her hearing as well..
