yeah it will. You need to take her to the doctor and tell them what happened. They'll tell you what needs to be done

Unfortunately, since the cast got wet, the integrity of it is compromised and therefore your best bet is to check in with a doctor to see if your daughter can retain her cast or will need a new one. For if the cast is compromised, her bones could heal incorrectly, causing even further problems.

You need to go to the doctor and have it rewrapped. It won't harm her arm or skin for now but when you take it off if you wait there might be mold found so yeah! Gross have it taken off to air out then they may put on a new one. Good luck

theres not much u can do but go to the doctor and get a new one. Ive heard of people who have gone swimming with them and they will just smell really bad. I dont think any skin condition will form but you probaly want to call the doctor.

If I were you, I would take her to the doctor's first thing. The cast should be replaced. It will be damp inside, and not be able to dry completely. I would think it would beging to itch, and bacteria could fester.

Call the doctor. It probably won't dry correctly and could cause problems. It could get moldy and nasty inside.

Possibly, the worst problem could just be the smell. But mold could also form due to the conditions.

I would call the doctor and ask. If you can't get a hold of the doctor, call the emergency room and ask them what to do. Don't take it off yourself.
