My daughter is 13mths and showing no signs of wanting to stop she only has it say 3-4 times a day, she is eating well and also has full cream milk. Its just that friends and family say that maybe I should be stopping now, its got me thinking maybe I should stop. But Im happy to keep feeding her and its not inconvienient for me at all, plus I see that she still enjoys it. Is there anything wrong with this?

My daughter had to pee but we were caught in the line-up at the drive thru. I couldn't exactly take her in and leave my car there, so I opened the door and helped her to tinkle on the side by a little bush there.

What do you do, when you're on the road with your girls?

My little girl is 21 months old. She was using her soother way too much. It was interfering with her speech and her teeth were starting to push out. For 2 days last weekend she hardly used it at all and only put it in her mouth if she saw it. So that night when she went to bed I threw it in the garbage. I feel really bad. She really misses it.

When my husband and I take her a place called Kindergym with all sortes of kids to play with ( she is 3 1/2 by the way) all she does is cling to us and when we try to make her play with the other kids she crys. We cant get her to do anything. Is it just a phase? I hope!! She doesnt go to a day care or anything, should we start, do you think it would help? Her baby sister loves to go to Kindergym to watch all the kids run around, (she is 6 months) should I just take her sister instead and leave the 3 1/2 year old at home for a while till she gets over it? There is nothing scary for her there. The parents stay there and talk while all the kids play. She is the only kid crying. What do I do? Thanks for answering all my questions!!

My son is 2 years old, a only child and has been in a preschool for 6 months. The problem is he keeps biting the children at the preschool when he can't get his way. I've tried talking to him telling him "thats not nice to bite" I even to the extreme of biting him once to show him how it feels. This has been going on for 1 month now and nothing i'm doing is working. Does anyone know a good method to stop this madness?

We're going to a small birthday gathering for a lady from church whose baby is turning 1. She also has a daughter who will be 4 in December. Would it be appropriate to get a small gift for the older sibling. And by small I mean like a cheapy $1 princess jewelry set from the dollar store or something. My husband says "no, just get a gift for the 1 year old. Kids need to learn they can't always get gifts at a birthday party." Besides, my almost 3 year old is friends with the almost 4 year old so I thought it would be kind of cool for my daughter to give something to her. Appropriate or not?

While undoing my son's seat belt, I ,noticed that he had a bite
mark on his wrist . My first question, to him was, how did this happen? He just said "Mama baby Owen bite you". I took pictures and,I drove back to the day care and, told the person in charge.

She said that she had not seen the bite mark ,and, that she heard him cry this morning, and that she did not know why he was crying. And she, did remember that he and another kid ,was trying to pull a toy, or something, and she does not remember, who the other kid was.
And that she would write down a report , and make me sign, and
She said that, she is not sure as to whether that child bit my son or not, and would not consider the name of which my son mentioned.
When I, asked her, if she remembers, who sat next to him, she said, that she does not remember, and does not have a 100% mind.
What do I, need to do.I am really upset, and there, has been other issues too, and it is really frustrating.
Decent answers only

My daughter who is 2-1/2 years old is at daycare now (my friend's house) and she just called me to tell me that my daughter has not gone pee-pee today at all. This is our third day into potty-training. We have half-heartedly tried before but end up giving into the diaper. But this time we are really sticking to our guns and not giving in. My daycare says my daughter has held herself and acted like she has to go potty but then nothing happens whenever she is put onto the toilet. She is put on the toilet about every 30-60 minutes for about 10-15 minutes each time. I'm very worried about the fact that my baby is holding her urine and not going. Can't this cause a bladder infection? What should we do? Do we cave and put her in a diaper? She is not crying or uncomfortable but I'm concerned about her holding her urine. Please, please any suggestions?

I am pregnant, due 3-24-07, with my third child. We don't know the sex yet, but when should we tell our three year old daughters. They are twins and are really close. How should I explain it to them. Also, if they ask 'where do babies come from' what should I tell them. Thanks.
Also, I am looking larger than I should at this point of my pregnancy. Do you think it is twins again, or I just look larger because of all ready having twins. And what are my chances of having twins again. And what are my chances of a girl.

Do you think it's possible that children who are mostly around adults develop quicker? After thinking about my own 2 yr old daughter and how smart she is, I thought about how she has little to no interaction with others her age. Could her knowledge of words & other things be in part due to the fact that everyone she spends her days with are loving adult family members who give her all their attention?

P.S. she plays very well with others her age when she does have the chance. not shy and such a share bear.

It looks identical to the mary meyer Lucy Lamb from her flip flops collection but instead of being 12" it is closer to 8" or 9". We ordered and received the full size lucy lamb and they are identical except lucy is bigger. My daughter loves this stuffed animal and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I tried contacting the company and they just bounced me to their retailer who said such a thing does not exsist. someone please help as when this thing finally gives out she will be heartbroken. Im willing to pay anything for this exact stuffed animal.

For the past 5 days, EVERY TIME we eat, he gets food caught in his throat and has to... basically clear his throat. He doesn't do it when he drinks and he says it doesn't hurt. I thought at first maybe he just picked up a bad habbit but it really doesn't seem like it now. He also hasn't had a BM in at least 4 days. He's normally pretty regular.
I took him to see his doctor and he said that he didn't see or feel anything unusual but if the problem continues then I need to bring him back monday and they are going to set up running some tests.

My mother in law is constantly taking her other grandson (not my child) for overnights and won't take her other grandson (my child) and she has every excuse in the book not to take our son and the mother of this child says she takes him because she feels bad that his dad isn't actively in his life (he is seldomly). Me and my boyfriend have both brought this up with his mom but she still doesn't seem to care, we even rub in her face that my mom takes him constantly and it doesn't bother her, i'm very aggravated and angry about this, not to mention MY dad has NEVER taken my son either and doesn't spend quality time with his grandson, I feel my son is the victim here. What should I do, i'm at my wits end with dealing with the mother in law and my dad on this situation?? PLEASE HELP!!

My daughter just turned 2 last month & I'm wondering if she is ahead of the game development wise. She can count to 15, tries to sings ABC's, knows colors, hundreds of words, knows different body parts, speaks in phrases & is very socially outgoing & alert to everything around her. I can almost always translate what she saying or trying to tell me.
My girlfriend has a 4 yr old boy & commented the other day how he is learning his colors in preschool, and my other girlfriend has a boy who also just turned 2, but he hardly even talks.

Are girls just more advanced at this age, or is she on the road to being pretty smart?
