I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old, both girls and am pregnant with #3. My girls are very well behaved and happy....lol, that is until i ut them both on the floor together with toys and then it's on!! My 2 y/o refuses to share toys flat out with her baby sissy. It's gotten to where my 2y/o snatched my youngest toy away and she grabbed my oldest hair, pulled her down and took her toy back, my 2y/o retaliated so they are already fighting but only when it comes to toys. So, i have spoken with my 2y/o tried time outs which she laughs at, took toys away don't buy new ones at all. seperate them etc etc but nothing works, my 2y/o won't learn....so, any suggestions on how i can get my 2y/o to be much more nicer, she's gonna have another baby sister/brother in May and it worrie sme as to how she'll react. I know sibling rivalry isn't anything new, but nothing i have done has helped teach her to share and be nice with your things. She also tears her stuff up and rips things of her walls...???

For about the past 2 weeks now, Our 18 month old boy will come up to either me or his father, Grab himself, and say UH OH..And sure enough when we check his diaper he has wet himself...Is he telling us it's time to start potty training? And how would we go about starting, he's not very vocal right now, he says a few words here and there, But we're not sure he's verbally ready to potty train...

Any suggestions?

Does anyone know if there are bowls and plates made for kids that have a suction cup on the bottom that keeps them stuck to the table? I swear I've seen them before, but now I can't find them in any stores... Does anyone know if they actually work?

I decided not to put my three year old in preschool this year (we are trying to resolve her issue with encopresis). I plan to put her in next year. What kinds of things should she be learning right now. I'm trying to come up with some lesson plans that I can do with her at home a couple days a week. We do a craft almost everyday (she loves to do them), we're working on cutting skills with safety scissors, working on number and alphabet recognition and we are practicing tracing. I also do felt board stories with her. I'm trying to keep it fun.

My son was born prematurly and I was hesitant to get him vaccinated. After speaking with the ped.. He got his first round of shots at 5 pounds. He screamed for 4 hours straight non stop and wouldn't eat right or sleep right for 2 weeks. At the next appointment they took out pertussis and he had 8 hours of straight screaming (I gave him tylenol both times too) turned into a zombie child for about a month. Now I'm holding off on the vaccines until he is older and can tell me what is wrong. He has also plateaued with his gross motor skills and before his second round of shots he was ahead of his peers. Now at 15 months he will not walk or babble or do anything his peers do.. I'm getting treated like a psychopath.. Where can I get support?
