He is fine sometimes, then other times it's like a frigging faucet... How old are kids when they outgrow this? He will be two after Thanksgiving...

YEAH, he's cutting his 2 yr molars, and has a pacifier... I'm hoping thatonce the teeth come thru and the pacifier goes the way of the dinosaurs, it will be the end of it!

First, I would get rid of the pacifier. That should be gone by the time a child is one or so anyway.
My daughter is two and she still slobbers when she cuts a new tooth. I would say it'll continue to happen until all the teeth have come through, which happens at about age three. (Until age 6 or so, when they start falling out)
Just be patient. Give him ice chips to chew on. It'll help with the pain, and will keep his body hydrated. Good luck!

my son stopped drooling by around two, maybe your son does it when he is playing and making bubbles, I see my son do it every so often but he wipes it off he is three and I haven't seen him drool for a long time. Or he could be getting the back molars in, nothing to worry about just make sure he isn't sucking on his thumb cause it will mess his teeth up as he gets older.

He's probably getting in those back molars. They are the last teeth to come in and my (almost) 2 year old son is getting those in now. He wasn't drooling at all before they started coming in. They are also very painful for him!

When all of his teeth are done coming in. He is teehtin and it will be better for him to not feel much pain at this time. The ice chips idea is nuts i have a daughter and she once got ice chips stuck in her throat and choked on them...BAD BAD idea! Fill a latex glove with water and freeze it, let your child suck on it, be sure to have lots on hand as it will make him or her feel like they are in heaven as the pain will freeze away.

When he turns about 4, he should stop alltogether. most do. If he sucks on his thumb, that may be part of the problem...
