I am taking my daughter out this year and she is 16m my son was 17m the first time I took him, I only go to about 10houses just so you can you did it and for the pictures. A better idea than trick or treating is find a family haloween party and take her there for the social interaction and of course the costume contest. Thats what i do

some people don't want to get involved with all the holiday ideas but you seem to since you're asking. I took my daughter out when she was 2 months old. Just in a stroller with my little sister. My son is 15 months and I plan to take him out this year. Last year when he was 3 or 4 months old I dressed him up and handed out candy because my daughter didn't want to go. So even if you just hand out candy dress 'em up. It's fun!!

I don't take my kids trick or treating due to religious beliefs and the fact that it isn't safe wandering around the neighborhood at night when people are already disguised and is a perfect time for crime. Also because evil people put awful things in candy, etc. Instead I take my kids to a church carnival...they play games to win candy and they get to dress up! I think the best age for that would be old enough to eat candy, around 4 years old.

I took my older girls out at about 19 months old for the first time. We only went to a couple of houses. My oldest I took to the mall trick or treat (it was inside, lit, and warm). My youngest is 2 and will go for the first time this year. We will still stick to a few houses around where we live. No need to cover the neighborhood.

I say baby or however old they are when Halloween comes around. I have 2 girls, 18 months and 5 months and you can bet they are going trick or treating. No matter how much you try you can not avoid Halloween so you might as well just join the rest of us and take your daughter trick or treating. Whether or not you want to admit it you will enjoy dressing her up.

Of course you take her. She should be able to go trick or treating. I took my little one last year and she was only a month old. But she was asleep and I was carrying her in my arms. She was a black kitty cat. But we took a lot of pictures and so when she gets older she will see that you took her trick or treating. Plus she can get all dressed up and everything. Now my daughter is one and she is going trick or treating.

I took my daughter at 2 months and again at 14, and I will take her again this year. Even if she can't say trick or treat... she can see all the colorful costumes and fun decorations. And you will have pictures of her all dressed up cute!!

I would wait, do you give her candy yet? Probably not alot anyways. I'm going to take my one year old trick or treating at my family's houses. Just so they can see him in his costume and for pictures. I think it is still a bit to early , they don't understand yet anyways. have fun!

At two years old she is very capable of enjoying trick or treating...it's her time to be learning socialablity I for sure wouldn't overdo it though, maybe 5 to 10 houses. Take her and have fun!
