Please help. I have two children who love Thomas and friends. We own several movies but they love the songs in the movies. I've searched but can't find any Thomas music. Does anybody know of a cd of the Thomas, James and the Red Balloon, Sir Topham Hatt, or other Thomas songs? Or a website that lists lyrics to the Thomas music? My kids would just love it if they could sing along to the Thomas songs.
Thanks!

They are 9mon and 5.....and our 5 year old even sleepwalks. We have to put locks on all the outside doors so she can't get out of the house in the night. She ends her destination in our bed. Our baby is now starting to have what we think are night terrors. It is heridetary, but there must be something we can do. Should we take them to the pediatrician? Can she fix it? We haven't had a full night's sleep in 5 years! Does anyone else have kids that have nightmares every single night????

WORRIED AND AFRAID!!!! he is 18 mos. and he looks like a toddler (weight and height) dont know what to do.

At that time, he showed signs of readiness. He then simply began refusing to go to the potty & then began to tell me, while laughing, that he just peed or pooped in his pants. He REFUSES to sit on the potty at all. I have tried to even offer going outside or in the shower. I have taken diapers away completely & he had an absolute meltdown. I have bought a seat to fit on the toilet, a step stool, & a potty chair. He refuses each way. He peed his pants yesterday & kicked and screamed for me to change him & put a diaper back on. I explained no more diapers. We are using underwear with vinyl pants over them. He hasn't pooped in 2 days now & I am getting worried. He is NOT afraid of the potty; he is just extremely strong willed. I did manage to get him to pee in the shower this morning but he refused the rest of the day, peeing in the floor tonight. Any suggestions?

My four year old loves to give me money because she says "you did a good job mommy- here is some money." This is money that she earned from helping around the house. I love that she wants to share but I feel bad taking it. I usually try to convince her to keep it then I see her little eyes. I then decide to take it and later put it back into her piggy bank. Is this the right thing to do? What would you do?

My son will be 18-months old soon and if I am around, he is like Velcro. If I am not around, I hear he is the most well adjusted toddler ever.

I would like to start potty training my son. I need input on potty's .. good input and bad. There are so many out there. Different styles, from simple to noisy and animated. Personally... I dont think I would want one that giggles and shakes him right off, but I would like to know what works best for everyone else, and which ones to steer clear of. I would start him on the regular one but I know he is leery of the large big person hole as opposed to the smaller one on child potty's. So please any input is much appreciated : )
Thanks for reading :) Also any ideas for using the potty while away from the home ( without his own potty once he is confortable using it ) would be a great help as well.

My son does these things over and over. I feel so worn out at the end of the day from chasing him around the house saying no. Some things are ignorable like the light flicking...but the dangerous things are not and it is hard to get him to understand the danger in it. Jumping on the couch, running up and down the steps, umping on the dog, choking the cat, sitting on his baby brother, hitting, these are all no good either for him or someone else. Then there is the constant NO NO NO I get to everything I say. That is so hard for me too. I want to argue and say yea to all his nos sometimes....lol. I love him more than anything in the world. He is a gift and a miracle. He is loving and sweet...then there is the bad streak though. Thats what I need some help with. Thank you

My son is 18 months old. He has been fasinated with his penis since he first discovered it during a bath a while back. I realize that children his age and a little older are discovering their bodies and they dont know any different, they just know it feels good but... its getting to the point where I cant change a poopy diaper without someone to hold his hands so he wont go to grab his penis and get his hands in his poop and he tries to put his hands in his diaper to get to his penis everywhere we go (at church, at friends house etc). My boyfriend and my parents will grab his hand out his diaper and make a big deal out of it like he is doing something wrong. I dont want him to get th eimpression like what he is doing is "bad" because I dont believe it is and he is too young to explain that things like that arent done in public. I just want to be able to change his diaper without getting another persons help or being embarressed when we go out. How do I get him to stop?

My 20 month old daughter has begun refusing to eat anything except pasta and bread and other high carb foods. (She will also eat cheese) Does anyone have any good ideas of how to prepare veggies in a way that a child this age will eat? She drinks diluted fruit juice and water but does not care for milk anymore. She will hardly touch meat products and will occassionally eat bannana or apple slices. Any new receipes would be helpful. Is the pretty much the norm for kids this age?

My daughter is about 19 months old. She has a pretty decent vocabulary, maybe about 30 words. She's potty trained and all that, but what I'm wondering is if anyone has any ideas of great learning games and such. Like what kinds of things are age-appropriate and go along with how her brain is developing at this age. Shes not in daycare like many toddlers, so she doesnt get the organized learning activities, so what types of things can i do with her on my own?

I need some other mother's opinion. I have a 2 year old son that grows like a bad weed!! His birthday is coming up soon and my family asked what they should get him. I told them he needs clothing because really what kid doesn't need clothing. The only thing I told them though was to get it second hand because I know if you look hard enough you can find some really nice second hand clothing and what you spend on one shirt now you can buy alot more if you go the second hand way. I love my son alot but with the way he grows it makes more sense to me to buy them second hand instead of going out and spend alot of money on clothes that aren't going to fit him for more then a couple of months. Don't get me wrong I do buy him new clothes but not as often as some parents do. Any ways my family looked at me weird because I told them to buy him second hand stuff. Was it wrong of me to ask them to?

I need to buy a humidifier for my baby's room because she is getting many colds lately and is coughing a lot. Her Dr. recommended to get a humidifier in her room while she sleeps.
Which one is the best for the price?

Would it be wrong to have her birthday party at Thanksgiving dinner? She'll be three so I'm sure it wouldnt' matter her, but my thinking is that all of the family will be here then and she can have a GREAT birthday, but is it wrong to combine the two? Her actual birthday is Thanksgiving Day.

I was wondering if this is a State by state thing or is it a new Standard across the country?. I don't mind it cause my son got E's across the board on his first report (not bragging just saying)
But I just wonder how the kindergarten programs vary. We live in Texas

We have tried letting him cry it out and he goes for at least 1 1/2 hours screaming. We have tried bribing him. We have tried gradual steps - starting with pallet on the floor in our room. He has a brother in the same room. He can see us from his bed (our door is open). We have tried classical music. Any ideas?

He has now gotten a staph infection. is it from my dogs and not keeping a perfectly clean house? I also have a 3 1/2 year old that goes to school. My mother is telling me that it is from "the dirt" but if staph is on your skin and everyone has a certain amount of staph then when you have an open area "from ezema" then isn't that where if could be from?

A month into this school year I found out my 5 year olds teacher told her in the begining of school that if the kids were bad she would send them to the office and a man there would give them a shot.Shes had a lot of "accidents" and says shes afraid to ask to go to the bathroom .( the teacher fussed at her the first time she did) When I went to the school to talk to the principle he was ready to defend the teacher before I could even explane everything to him. Of course the teacher denies doing anything out of place. My little girl is very confussed about the whole thing. She loves her teacher and dosnt really understand why when she tells me these things I get so upset. She dosnt want me going to the school to talk to the principle either. I think shes afraid of getting her teacher in trouble and therby her getting in trouble. How do I handle this?
