Your daughter does not know what marriage really means yet so I wouldn't be worried.

It's normal. I did that when I was 5. Why I remember it..I don't know. But, I'm fairly normal now. I think it's more about make believe than anything. Chances are your daughter plays "house" with these boys and one is the mommy & one is the daddy, making them "married". I wouldn't worry too much about it...in fact, the fact that she is socializing should make you happy. :)

Awww, that's adorable! At four she doesn't think of marriage the same as we do. When I was four, I was sure I'd marry my daddy. I loved him a whole lot, he was my best friend and I couldn't bear the thought of not seeing him every day forever. Imagine my chagrin when I found out that just wasn't done!
Let her imagine and pretend. Or else move to Utah! lol Hey, at least she's keeping her options open!

my daughter just turned five, and has been convinced since she was four she was going to marry her grandfather when she gets older. She actually dresses up, flowers and all and makes us perform the ceremony. I think it's a riot. She's just using her imagination that's all. Did you ever pretend to be a bride? Just let her pretend, there is no harm in that.

I was shocked to hear my four year old daughter say the same thing her third day of school except it's only one boy. It's normal, she will grow out of that stage.

It's totally normal at her age. She probably just likes them more than the other boys.
I think all 3 of my kids (1 boy, 2 girls) have said similar things. They soon get to an age when they think the opposite sex are horrible and silly.
Don't worry about it.xxxx

I think kids just like to pretend and they want to be like the adults they look up to. My 4 year old son and my 3 year old daughter pretend that they are married. They even call each other 'babe'.. lol..

I'm in the process of getting my teaching degree in elementary education, that is completely normal. She will soon grown out of it and think that boys have cooties. Just let her no that no one is allowed to touch her in a way that she is uncomfortable. Show her what a good touch is and what a bad one would be. Good luck.

It's fine... at that age she doesn't really understand what marriage is anyways.
My 4yr old daughter says she's never going to marry a boy... that doesn't mean I'm afraid she's going to marry a girl or anything.
It's harmless.
