Maybe his Dad can spell and he likes that. Maybe I can translate dose = does, gos = goes, dont call my house = doesn't call my house, homee = home, slipt = split. Just my thoughts.

I have a 3 and a half year old son, and his father and I have been divorced since he was 6 months old. His father is remarried, and I am not, although my son doesn't call either of our houses "home" He has his "daddy and nay's house" and he has his "Mommy and Adam's house" but the weird thing is that he calls his MeMaw & G's house his home. He calls it "his place" for some reason. We have all put our head togeather and made the decision that we believe he thinks that way because his MeMaw's house is the only place that hasn't changed since he was born. MeMaw's house has always been the same. His father is in the Marines, so we always moved a lot, and his father and I have both had several diffrent homes in the past few years, but that is the best that we could come up with. I hope it helps, at least to know that you are not alone in this. I wish you the best of luck with your situation. Take Care.

is dad still in house that you all shared? maybe thats the reason also its not that he likes dad more its that dad is more fun cause he is only there on weekends. my kids appear to love their grandfather more than me because they see me all the time and I set 90% of the rules while he only sets 5% the other 5 is blown out the window LOL!!! but at the end of the day its always me they say I love you too as they go to bed
its tough being the bad cop

idk about ur kid but i like my dad more than my mom ! besides he is 2 years old he is learning and growing and he is finding what he likes or does not like just cause he calls it mommy's house does not mean he does not like u and just cause he calls it home does not mean he likes his dad more than u . when u and ur husband lived together was that the house u lived in if it is that may be the reason he calls it home he grew up there since he was little but if thats not the problem than i think he just has 2 names for each house so he can tell them apart

At 2 yrs. old, he's picking up what he hears at Dad's house. Have a little chat with Dad so there's an understanding of mommy's house and daddy's house. Reinforce "our" house to him as much as you can.
