You do need to make a routine if you can. Also, make a big fuss when she goes to the potty! Praise her and get excited! Clap for her and cheer for her! Make a big deal out of her 'big girl' panties, maybe get her special Dora the explorer panties or Care bears. Give her lots of praise and encouragement for going to the potty and tell her what a big girl she is and how you are so proud of her.
Don't give any negative feedback when she has an accident though. At two years old going to the big girl potty even sometimes is awesome! I've had kids at nearly four still learning!
Good job little girl!

Firstly, I would say that the time you choose to potty train should ideally be during a week when you have minimal activities on. There should be a build up to this week - keep telling your daughter what is coming up - get her really excited about it. Go shopping for some underwear with her. Buy her some little gifts/ sweets for the week of training. When you do start the training - don't reward her for using the toilet rather reward her for staying dry - focus on that behaviour. Don't use pull ups. Go all out with underwear - no nappies except during sleep. You have to be totally committed to the training - even in the car. I kept a potty in the boot for emergencies - used it once! Familiarise yourself/daughter with the location of toilets when you are out shopping or even going to a friends place.
If she isn't initiating going to the toilet - take her every 2-3hours and before going in the car - during the day.
All the best!

ok set times for her to have as "potty time" those are times when she will just sit on the potty and try to go. but make sure that she knows that if she needs to use the potty any other time that she can go. but the "potty time" will get her on a pattern. second SINGING POTTY find one and you'll see why it works. go get "big girl panties my little pony, dora the explorer, any thing that she will think is pretty and wont want to mess them up.
and side note little girls will start going on thier own all the time some where around when they turn 3.

Just take them to the toilet every time they have to go use the rest room. Or u can do a routine and take them to the potty on certain hours.

You either MAKE time for the routine (besides kids SHOULD have a normal daily routine all the time), or hold off potty training.

Good Luck. You can't make a child use the potty on demand. She will go when she feels the need to go; just like you!

The one tip I have is that potty training is a mind game.
This is the first thing that your child has total control over.
Don't let it be about making you happy. It should be "you are happy for her because she is now a big girl and able to do this."
That's the main thing.

When she's ready, she's ready. I took my daughter to the bathroom with me when I could and showed her what big girls do. She always said that "I'm a big girl mommy". It worked. Plus I praised her every time. Don't reward her with food though. It becomes a habit that every time she does something good she has to have a treat. If you do give her something let it be healthy and nutritious.

The joys of potty coaching! My son's pediatrician encouraged that you simply wait till virtually three years ancient to begin potty coaching boys. Girls generally tend to begin a bit of faster, round two one million/two or so. My son is now four one million/two, and potty coaching used to be rather the wrestle. He has had plenty of constipation disorders and withholding disorders that he needed to see a gastroenterologist for, which behind schedule potty coaching beyond the pediatrician's encouraged age of three. We used a gift approach within the commencing. I had a box of mini M&M's. Each time he went pee at the potty he bought one million, and at any time when he went poo he bought two. (The motive we gave him two for going poo is considering that that is in which our wrestle used to be customarily as a result of his constipation and withholding disorders). He went to a babysitter for the period of the day, and he or she wasn't particularly up for doing the complete sweet factor, so he could get little stickers there at any time when that he went potty. Another enormous incentive for him used to be that preschool wasn't too off in his long term, however we could inform him that he needed to be going to the toilet at the potty and now not in having injuries if he desired to move. So that particularly helped matters. Also, carry amusing matters in the toilet. With my son, we could carry books or his magnadoodle in there. We learned that often we simply needed to get him to loosen up in order that he would pass. As a mum or dad, you recognize the endurance youngsters have may be very small, so whilst they're simply sitting there attempting and don't have anything else to cognizance on, they are able to get pissed off rather with no trouble. It is helping to place their concentration someplace else. Another thought is to simply make a particularly enormous deal everytime that he is going. Unfortunately, there is not any cut-off date on how lengthy potty traning can take. Each baby is distinctive, and often powerful willed kids can take a bit of longer. My son nonetheless has injuries occassionally, however they just look to arise at house. He has in no way had an coincidence at preschool or out in public. We nonetheless have got to remind that its time to take a look at an pass to the toilet. Kids simply get so sidetracked whilst they're gambling or doing different routine. I understand that after we had been first opening out, we could have him try to pass to the toilet each hour or two. Even if he did not continually pass, he could a minimum of check out. Hope this data is helping.
