Preschool Fundraising Ideas

At a town (13,000ppl) in my state, a kindergarten has affiliated with local fashion stores to hold an annual fundraising fashion contest. What happens is model entrants enter to raise money for 'charity' (kinder) and then after three or so months of fundraising they hold a fashion parade and the 'Charity Queen' (person who raises the most money) is awarded a sash and a prize.
Each entrant is to initiate their own fundraising ideas. Ultimately since the beginning of this 3 years ago, it has been the most succesful kindergarten fundraiser I've EVER heard of. The entrants don't have to be drop dead gorgeous, last year even saw a male enter the competition. Hope this helps. It takes determination and a serious commitment. You'll probably need a committee just for this alone. All the best! :D

These are some of the fund raisers that my class does each year:

Craft Auction: we make different little crafts and hold an auction for the parents, grandparents, and other family members. The children love making the crafts and the parents love bidding on them!

Dinner Fundraiser: We do this on a Friday when the center is closing. Parents can sell the certificates for $5.00 and we make a nice dinner and have a social.

Bake sells are good. Walmart is always happy to let you set up shop there.

First we would need to know what the fundraiser is for. When i had my daughter in daisy scouts we handmade things and went out as a group door to door asking for donations like with lion's club members. Or you could try a small bake sale at the school on parent teachers nights or socials when the children have plays or musicals to perform.I hope this gives you some ideas.

We used a good one when my children were in school not sure where you are from or if it is avalible in your area but they are called joe corbi pizza and cookie dough you make a 5.50 profit on each pizza sold I think you may have to sell at least 100 kits, the profit goes up the more you sell. And I think it was 5.00 on each tub of cookie dough. Check the website, It is Joe corbi.com. Their products are very good.

Our preschool has a cookie dough fundraiser and a spaghetti dinner every year. It seems to do well.

They had an adorable video on tv where they had each gowned and capped K kid step on a small platform and while being videod, asked them what they wanted to be when they grew up and it was not a pre-thought out question. It makes for a precious memory.
