I'm a working mom, I work full time from 8-4 and when I get home I'm already tired. I try to keep up with my 9 month old, and usually I do. I start losing patience at night, especially when I'm very sleepy and he doesn't wanna go to sleep.

I don't yell at him, but I talk stronger. For example I say with a strong voice "Damian go to sleep now baby, mommy is tired". Sometimes he just laughs at me thinking I'm playing, sometimes he stays serious.

But, the next day I feel SO guilty. I don't give him enough time because I work, and then I talk strong to him!! What kind of person am I? :( And I can't quit my job because we need the money.

Anyone else with the same problem? Any other working moms? How do you deal with this sort of issue?

He is 21 and after all these years we still have to grind on him to pick up after himself. We feel some time on his own he will get it.

He works full time so he is not a deadbeat but so do we.

The worst part is I feel terrible about it.

My Daughter is 6 months pregnant by a man in his late 20's, she is going to keep the baby with my help, my concern is the man is continuing to manipulate her, I'm afraid of what his intention are, the most information I have is that he's is married with children, and I just found out his true name, I'm at a lost and could really use some advice.

I am pregnant with my second girl right now and I love my 1st sooo much that I don't understand how there will be enough love for the new baby too. Does it take love away from your first and use it for your second? I just don't know how I can love and provide equal attention to both of my girls.

I have enrolled him in a music conservatory last April. He knows 3 simple songs, and he also knows how to read music. The challenge comes in when he will not play anything new or he goes at such a slow pace that he cannot keep up with the class. In other words, he is currently 3 songs behind. I have tried the following approaches so far: 1) asking him to play what he already knows as a warmup 2) playing myself and asking him to join in 3) providing incentives like ice cream if he plays for 5 minutes 4) removing mindless activities like watching television until he has had his daily session. I know it's been a praticularly bad piano practicing week because he has not had any television since last Wednesday. In other words, I didn't allow him to watch any television until he had even one practice session. Another part of the problem is if he has a break between piano practice sessions it's like pulling teeth to get him back on the piano again.

Before our daughter, we lost two kids. The first was through birth. She was strangled by the umbilical cord. The next one died 6 days after birth. Doctors said she had inmature lungs. And this one, La' Nina', we nearly lost her too. My wife had to be admitted for 6months in the hospital before she gave birth to her. La' Nina' is a blessing. I love her so much. I breath her. I adore her. Now my wife is 6months pregnant and she is worried i might not love our next child like i love La' Nina'. I assure her that i will love them all equally but sometimes i also wonder. Help me out there. I dont know what to do. She might be right.

I guess this question goes out mainly to those who state a preference for the circumcised variety. Even if you prefer circumcised, how would you feel about having had that choice made for you when you were too young to choose for yourself? I myself am circumcised and sometimes it doesn't bother me, and sometimes it does (there's nothing I can do about it after all). Most girls don't seem to either notice, or mind, but it does upset me a bit that many girls definitely prefer a foreskin, and I can fully understand them doing, I think I would. Suppose that you had had the small foreskin covering on your clitoris removed, before you were old enough to remember - that is about the equivalent of removing our foreskins really, even though ours are bigger. It would only make a small difference to your genitals, so would you be OK about somebody having made that choice for you, and also, that some guys would prefer girls with that bit of skin there, and some would prefer it removed.

My friend's two year old has been hitting my two year old son lately. He is a quiet, shy and sweet boy but recently, he's been on a rampage. The other day at the park, he proceeded to chase my son down and beat him up and pin him down for no good reason. He continually did this. He even hit him with a chocolate popsicle where I had to change my son's shirt. He started this two weeks ago. He has never been aggressive. We don't know where he gets this from. He don't watch tv, parents don't want violent tv, he is not in daycare....so we're baffled as to where all this is coming from. Any help?

I'm anxious to know if anyone has an experience with this, as it always seems to take so long for my social worker to return a call. I am considering moving from va to fl, and my daughter has medicaid. She had open heart surgery at a week old, and recieves synagis shots and at 1200 bucks a shot a month, its impossible to afford without medicaid. So you can see why Im hoping it will and am curious to know if the insurance just transfers or if you have to reapply, and if i have to reapply is there a certain time before youre recognized as a citizen. Ive googled about this but to no avail. Thanks for any help.

How far away from where you were living did you move? How much does one need? I know it depends on where you go, but for starting out fresh how much did you take? How did you get set up? Not sure if my question makes complete sense!

I have strict parents - they don't want me to be hanging out with guys so much i don't know why. I have a boyfriend and I love him so much. I want my parents to know that I am old enough to have a guy in my life I am 20 by the way. So as of the meantime I am keeping our relationship a secret. My boyfriend understands my situation and I am slowly introducing him to them (my parents) but the more the see him the more they don't want us to see each other. And coz of that I had to lie sometimes so that we could see each other. Why is it hard for some parents trust their children? Am I wrong of lying? and even if I tell them they won't allow it. What should I do?

I think it is selfish to keep bringing kids into this world when there are kids in foster care adoption agencies and just in need of someone to love them, also the world has become a blackhole for children. Do you think we should stop giving birth to them for these reasons?

I am a 27 seperated woman, and it just disgusts me to know that there are so many people out there who can't have children; including me. The persons who can have children molest, kidnapp, rape, beat, abandon, and kill them. Not saying that all people do this of course, because it's the majority of humans that are at their best at parenthood. It just seems so unfair.
