well it does kinda sound odd and way too old fashion, i think he will get picked on in school with a name like that, it's kinda like nameing your kid Pilot Inspector (some famous actors son's name) *why on earth would you name your child that* and Meldrick just said way too old and ugly!

Never heard it. Sounds good though, nothing wrong with that name. I think it is good to have an easy to say name but uncommon or not too common. I hate hearing the same names over and over, it gets confusing when everyone has the name Mike or Heather.

I think you should NEVER ask people what they think of a name. They'll be sure to tell you. If it is your sons name, its too late for others opinions at this point.

Since you have already named your son AND you like it, why on earth do you care what a bunch of strangers think? Be happy with your decision.

I personally wouldnt have thought of that name, but if you like it, then why does it matter? I named my daughter Onnika and no one liked it at first, but now they love her and her name! Also, if your son gets made fun of, at least you chose a name that can have diffrerent nicknames!

i love it, never heard it before so it makes it orginal. My son's name is Jarek, it's like derek but with J no one liked it at first in our family but they grew to love it. Besides at least you know no one could get him confussed with someone else who has the same name cuz no one else will.

Haven't heard it before, but it's a cool name. It sounds cool to me, not odd.
