How far away from where you were living did you move? How much does one need? I know it depends on where you go, but for starting out fresh how much did you take? How did you get set up? Not sure if my question makes complete sense!

It will always take more than you have to start over. I am assuming you are talking financially. Things to consider... deposits for utilities such as electric, gas, phone, water, cable, etc., possibility of buying your own appliances or being prepared to spend a lot of time at a laundry mat; buying EVERYTHING on your own, deposits for childcare, changing your car insurance, tags, registration, etc. There are a lot of factors to consider when moving.

God made mothers to look like angels so men will help them. A geographical cure to life's problems does work but if you are in a low income area its hard to move to a high income area. I moved to Missouri because the cost of living is less. You can move to the next county if you are careful. Gotta have one person there you know is all before you do the move. Every county has a charity center with commodities. You need a new address to get help usually.

I moved directly following the seperation. I was lucky enough to have a supportive family close by so I didn't need that much. If you are planning a move you need to check into real estate prices. You'll need enough upfront for rent and deposit plus the deposits to have the utilities turned on. Moving is very expensive in itself for the U-haul or whatever company you go with. Personally without my family I wouldn't have been able to afford it. I know that the first month it cost about $1,000 for rent, deposit, utilities, groceries and other essentials. Best of luck and remember it does get better.

Check this out, you just have to take one day at a time.
-- 1. trust in God
-- 2. place to live, if you don't have a secure place to live in, then don't move! Save little by little until you can.
-- 3. establish income, no matter what you do, work smarter not harder, so you can be there to love, mold and train your child.
-- 4. always remember doing things differently, leads to a different outcome. Think outside the box!!!

Maybe you started out good then ended out bad. Maybe you need to relax and take some time off. I don't know if that answers your q.
