I want to spend more time with my baby, I do everything I can. I take her all the time and get nice smiles from her regularly. However, I can't have her for more than 5 min without her crying. It makes me sad. I really make an effort. I'm wondering if it's normal. My wife breastfeeds and all my daughter seem to want is to be with her. I assume this is normal, but I'd like to hear about others experiences to reassure me. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I'm working on a nighttime routine for my 7 month son but for naps and currently bedtime, he's used to going to sleep in a swing. How can I break him out of it?? He's never slept in his crib yet but my ultimate goal is to get him there as quickly as possible. Thanks

I want to know if people think her kids should be taken away. She was caught with 5 other people in her house, and they were all either using or selling drugs, with her 3 and 1 year old children there. There were needles laying around and everything. What kind of people do this. It's pretty sad, you need a license for a car, a license for your dog, but any idiot can have kids.

I just found out, through a DNA test, that i have a 2 year old daughter with a women i used to see. I have been ordered to pay child support, and have been paying it.
I am also married, and have been for 1 year. We have a baby of our own. We both work full time, own our own car, and have clean records.
I want to know what the chances are of getting any custody. The mother of the child doesnt want me to have anything to do with the kid. She says i wont get any custody because i havent been there since she was born, but i didnt know, i just found out a few months ago. Thats not my fault she waited so long to tell me.
Can i get partial custody, where i get her 6 months out of the year, or any custody at all? The mother of the child is unwed, and moves to new houses all the time. She also posts half-naked pictures of her on the internet. Neither me and my wife have anything againt us, and would like the girl to be a part of our family.

Ok my daughter and her friend had a fight and are no longer friends. My daughter is trying to talk to her friend and see what is going on because it has just gotten ridiculous. Its been two months and the other girl is spreading rumors to other friends and is trying to keep them away from my daughter. Now my daughter is 11 years old. Katelyn is pretty easy going and tries to ignore the stuff being said and just brush it off. I work at her school and see what is going on at recess since I am the playground aide, so I hear what goes on and see what goes on. My daughter has asked to talk to this girl and she has basically told her to leave her alone and not to talk to her again. Well today my daughter walked by the workroom where i was at and she was so upset and she was crying like I have not seen her cry like this for a good year and that was when her grandpa died. Ok so I'm wondering what I should do. I am trying to get the girls together to talk is this ok.

We just got a pool, got it all set up and ready to swim and my girls were in in. Next things the neighbors kids join in and they throw sand in the pool and hold the side down to let water out-Now we have to purchase a vacumn to clean it. Their parents have the "they are only kids" attitude. What would you do. My husband want to forbid them from coming back which leaves the heat on me but I don't know what to do--I do not allow behaivor like this in my home but they are allowed to do whatever---what should I do?

What if you buy a used infant car seat that is a year old and has not been in an accident.

Would it be best to buy a new one? Did you buy new or used?

Are they bad for their knees or are they bad since kids can fall down stairs or fall out of a door like a garage entry way?

I had one as a kid, but I know a lot of parents that won't use them now a days.

Sometimes parents get offended when you try and show them that something is unhealthy mentally, hygenically or socially. Some parents are very close minded or mentally inept or believe that "That was the way I grew up, so it must be right(even though they grew up in a bad household and they didnt turn out all that well)" .How do you tell them without causing conflict?

I don't want to discover the reason when it's too late to have children. I 've been asking people this question for a long time and I haven't gotten a good answer. I love kids and I have a lot in my life, but I don't know if I want any of my own.

Am I a selfish person? Am I overlooking something?

I know this couple with a Sealy high quality mattress that cost them about $100.

It is about a year old and has always been covered and has no stains.

Their daughter only used it for the last 3 months and now is moving to new home and they are giving it to me.

So is it okay to use it for my new baby when it was only used for 3 months and always taken care of?
