I just got a comment on one of my questions that say's I am a bad mother I not my child has food clothing a roof over her head she spoiled rotten in good ways. I teach my children the values of everyday life and coseqences on action that they take. So why is it that they say I am a bad mother. That just pisses me off there are alot worse people out there that treat there children bad but I get called a bad mother for my daughter being a tom boy. It's not right. Who ever wrote that need to be checked into place.

How Should I feel about a boyfriend having kids with a previous girlfriend, and how should i look at them?
My boyfriend was with this girl from a few years, he had one little girl with her and then she became pregnant again right after he left contact with her....this beautiful boy was born today...but we arent even 100% sure than it is my boyfriends...he is just going to take the roll of dad from what i understand.his daughters mothers family are crazy...the dont want him to be happy at all every chance they get they start trouble and they wont let us see her 1/2 the time. they try to physically fight with us. It will be so hard on thses babies all i want to do is protect them. My feeling are very mixed but i really care about him and his daughter already and want to spend a long time with him..but question arise...what if i want children in the next 4 years? How could we afford to help with 2 and have one fulltime...and would he stay around of we did....he seems like it. But i dont know how to deal with these people and this situation...friendle help would be appreciated greatly! :)
What do i think of them as...His kids. our kids...my..?..Their her mothers family dont want them to care about me and their father....they are so beautiful and dont deserve this situation i just dont know what to do...i just want to help it in any way i can...but i'm new to parenting in general i have just decided i want some of my own..and now this...i love him and them...what do i do??? need advice badly.....

We had an open house for our elementary school (my daughter's in Kindergarten) and our class had to be rescheduled due to a family emergency. The teacher's still out, and I'm afraid her mother may have died. I want to express sympathy, but am not sure that's what happened. We know she has been ill. What to do without being too over burdening?

My sister in law may have Hepatitis B, we arent sure yet but the doctor said her liver is abnormal and it could be the cause. He said she may have a still born. If they enduce labor they would have to give the baby steroids to make her lungs stronger. She is 7months and we were planning her baby shower for September 23. What is best, wait or just go on with everything????

So tomorrow I go to the DR. I am wondering if the dr. says im pregnant how i should break it to my parents. I was responsible about it and was taking my b/c regular (was not for sex purposes..health issues) or so i thought i was being responsible...if I was your child how would you like to be told, its not something any parent would want to hear.( I have been hiding my sicknesses and illment so they couldnt catch on but the other day i told them im sick and need to go to the dr.)

For me it was 14 but I was occasionally "threatened" with them until 16.

I am 35 now...is it really true people don't spank much any more?....that must be an interesting way to get raised.

been seeing someone for a little while now..... a really great guy.
It's a very new relationship-- about a month.
My trouble is trying to manage my feelings. I am a single mother-- my five year old son's dad died four years ago.
Having raised my son alone, I am not looking to date for fun, and i don't involve people I date with my son so that he doesn't become attatched and get confused.
This man I'm seeing is absolutely wonderful. He is the brother of a friend, and I already know his family. It's been a short time, but I have very strong feelings for him.....
He feels the same, and he cares about my son. (he has met him in group situations a few times.)
I can't help but wonder if it's abnormal to feel so strongly so soon?
I'm not normally like this-- I mean, of course, any new realtionship is fun and exciting in the beginning.... but this feels different.
Should I try to back off of this a little? Or is it possible to sort of 'know' that things are right this soon?

HEY, i'm a 17 year old male who used to be reeeally fit until this summer... since the begining of this summer i have piled on 66+lbs. due to lack of exercise, binge eating, eating sugary foods & other issues such as my "urge to gain weight" which means i enjoy myself overweight & plan on continuing to gain weight...

yet i have noticed in the past month or so i have started getting chest pains. like when i climb stairs, eat ALOT or sometimes no apparent reason...

like my parents & doctors say i MUST lose weight, watch what i eat & work out!but i'm like screw that!! so can anybody help me with this??

my current stats are 5'10 222lbs. up from 155ish a few months ago! i also have a rather round belly @ 46 inches which makes me look pregnant which i find quite amusing. i also have huge thighs which are covered in stretch marks and is an utter pain when walking anywhere AND i have man boobs "moobs" which are slightly unsightly but w/e keep in mind i was inshape a few months ago...

I'm starting a parent coaching business. It's sort of like a Supernany but without the cameras. I need a good phrase for my business card. I was thinking "Helping you to be the best parent you can be." My husband says it sounds like an army ad. What do you think? Any other ideas? Any help would be great!

My daughter is 13 already, but she has changed a lot. She never talks to me or my husband anymore, the only thing she actually asks us for is to go out with her friends. But otehr times she doesn't even ask. They just show up and pick her up. Her friends are..not the best people. I know she is smoking already since I found ciggerates in her room. I have a feeling that she was been doing things much worse than that. Anyone have any advice on how I could talk to her or something?

My neice who is 18 months old is living with my grandma because my brother is just too darn lazy to take his daughter home every night. He won't even pay our mom. It has even hurt her back and wore her out. She's almost 50. My neice's mom on the other hand is a drug addict, uses her older son's social security check(who is 4 years old) to buy beer and she hangs around child molestors and dates them. When my neice stays with her, she's always neglected, not properly taken care of.

Suggestions? Hope this makes sense.

i want my mom and i to be like best friends but she only wants to spend time with her boyfriend and we barely talk and when we talk she gets mad at me. how can i get my mom to show me that she loves me and spend time with me?
my mom is not those kind of moms that u can talk to. she is different. it sucks having a mom thats only 31 because she spends time with her friends. wen she gets mad at me its becasue she thinks im dumb and that i have no common sense but i do. and she says that she wants to spend more time with my cousin so they can BOND and that makes me more sad that she doesnt want to spend time with me. =`(
and y cant she be happy without a boyfriend? all the time i feel like she doesnt want me and that im a mistake
i really want her to be a part of my life right now cuz wen im all grown up she might not appear in my life that much

Are they going to grow up to be serial killers and ax murderers? Stupid? Unable to process ratonal thought and multi-task later in life? This guy thinks so: http://www.askdrsears.com/html/5/T051100.asp#T051103 and before you scoff, he has quite a following. One can never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. I can't wait until next week when they come out with the latest guilt trip to lay on parents, so we can be informed if we don't do this and that, our kids are destined for a future of doom.

Oh, heaven help us all.

How can I get my 13 month old twins to share? They are always grabing from eachother. They'll scream and fight when this happens. I've tried spanking their hands, but I don't think they are "getting" what I'm trying to teach them.
