The site doesn't actually encourage children to read, the program does.
It would be much more effective if there were some passages from the book everyone is reading on the page so people can get an idea of what it is. Also, the text needs to be punched up a bit.
I love the Hoot logo with the owls :-) and the pictures are wonderful.

its kind of bland but its good. wouldnt realy grab the childs mind.
