You should have paid more attention to the classes you did have in school. It's taught not thought. To answer your question, no.Parenting skills are a personal reflection of who you are, and I don't want some textbook to tell me how to raise my children. It's just my opinion.

Yes, because then teenagers would learn that being a parent isn't just for a few years, it's for life. Parenting is hard work and takes a lot of self control to raise a small baby into a happy healthy adult with good moral values. From waking in the middle of the night for a feed, to waking from bad dreams to staying awake til they come home safe. Then they leave home and you still worry. Children have tantrums, get sick, just want you to cuddle them, refuse to eat, get into trouble at school, want to play sport, etc. They need to be taught self control, how to treat others, good eating habits, the dangers that exist in life. ie Strangers, drugs, alcohol, safety awareness and so much more. So maybe if it was taught in schools both males and females would know what is in store for them for the rest of the lives. They also need to be taught what they themselves are like as people and how they were as children themselves

Yes I think that would be a good idea it's probably something we should all do before we have children being a parent is the most important thing we'll ever do but for the majority don't have any formal training they just learn as they go along

Some schools have electronic dolls that they use just for this and it works!
Yes it should, there are so many silly little girls out there who think having a baby is so cool and then find out it isn't all peaches and cream and this is how abuse begins, along with drinking and drugs to escape their no win lives.
